Name's Claudia, I'm semi-new here and I'm looking for a workspace. I invent stuff, repair stuff, improve stuff, your usual genius tinkerer deal. Thing is, working out of a Welcome Hall room just isn't cutting it. I require space and grounded electrical outlets.

To head off the inevitable inquiry: I am broke. Nada moolah. Rent will have be paid in the form of nifty doodads -- we're a little low tech here but I can work it -- and maybe light cleaning, just until I get a job.

Leads on the job front would also be greatly appreciated!

Um, well, it's nothing like this world. For example, in my world, we are unable to communicate like this. If we wanted to talk to friends, we would have to write them a letter.

Okay, but literally everyone uses inventions. Wheels on carts..... Pipes, water pumps, pulley systems... See what I mean? That's all mechanical engineering, you just didn't know it. Making things that do things you can't on your own.

OH! Of course. I had no idea those were related to mechanical engineering. I spent most of my time either serving of at the smithy with my father, so I'm afraid I do not know how those things work.

Meaning, I have used them, of course. I just have never looked into how they worked. Not that I do not I'm not interested though. I have just been busy with other things, you see.

You don't have to know how things work to use them, I'm just giving examples. And a lot of blacksmith stuff applies, too.

Yes. I just never heard it called such before. Perhaps I shall learn about these things then. I do have the time.

I'd be glad to show you some, but is there usually a lot of downtime here? Sure hasn't been since I showed up.

There can be. I do usually try to keep busy though.

Work. Living with all men keeps me rather busy.

A few from my world. I do live with My Lady, Morgana, of course, but the knights from my world as well.

Yes, knights. My world has many of them. They're a bit full of themselves, but they can be lovely people.

My world hasn't had knights around for a very long time.

Really? Perhaps it is for the best? They can be very full of themselves.

Maybe. Chivalry is considered more or less dead, these days.

That is a very sad thought. Surely there has to be some? [She teases, but she loves her knights.]

There are hints here and there with some guys, but it's pretty dead.

Well, I do hope that men haven't become completely rude. [Not that a woman couldn't take care of herself, but men being rude? Still unpleasant.]
