Name's Claudia, I'm semi-new here and I'm looking for a workspace. I invent stuff, repair stuff, improve stuff, your usual genius tinkerer deal. Thing is, working out of a Welcome Hall room just isn't cutting it. I require space and grounded electrical outlets.

To head off the inevitable inquiry: I am broke. Nada moolah. Rent will have be paid in the form of nifty doodads -- we're a little low tech here but I can work it -- and maybe light cleaning, just until I get a job.

Leads on the job front would also be greatly appreciated!

I don't have workspace just yet, I've taken over the local blacksmith though. Great place for a little bit of cash. Locals always need something fixed.

Blacksmith... That's got potential but I've never handled molten anything besides solder. Bit of a molehill to mountain deal there.

Not really. A lot of the stuff they need fixed is simple and doesn't require use of the forge. And anything in that department I can handle no problem.

Most natives do not mind hiring other Travelers. The wages are usually low unless you find a job in management or bookkeeping. There are few businesses that other Travelers own. If you are interested in learning more about opening your own business for future reference, then I suggest working under one of them until you have enough money or a better understanding of this world's business system.

I know a fellow inventor who owns his own workshop. I do admit it is mostly for painting, but I have witnessed him invent items by using his abilities and his own two hands. Are you talented in building inventions made out of other materials other than electronics? I do believe you mentioned electricity as a field you have interest in. Correct? [Or he thinks so, at least.]

Yes. There is a man known as Leonardo da Vinci-san who owns his own shop. It is a business centered mostly in creating art, but he does create and sell a few of his own inventions. If you wish to work alongside him, then I am certain he would be most joyful to have you.

You might even be able to find unique ways to add electricity to his inventions as I do not believe he is fully aware of it's many uses yet.

[If he could read her mind, then he would have answered her other questions too. It is a shame he does not hold that ability even if he is part of Team Loki.]
