Having had a proper look around, everything that people have said on here either is something very, very important and likely needs to be said or is someone trying to live their lives. To tell you the truth, I don't actually know what 'living your lives' here means yet, but so far, I'm starting to have a starker view on things. Or, well, I've affirmed my belief that having a starker view is normal. We are at war, after all.
But it's because of that that I haven't said much yet myself. I don't really know where to begin. I mean, beyond 'hello' and that didn't seem like it was good enough. 'Hello, I'm Harry Potter'. Right. None of you lot would even care about that. So, in an attempt to not come up with rubbish like that, I started writing down questions. They aren't any good, but I figure it's as good of a place to start than anything else. So I'll get on with that.
1. Does anyone here like the gods? I mean, beyond a few who like their noble sacrifices and the like. Trust me, I can see how that's appealing. And is there a difference between liking and relying on them? I actually wrote about six different variations of this down. It seems to be a thing that comes up a lot—blaming them for things, I mean.
2. Why do I have such a rubbish power?
3. How do I learn how to fight because my power is so rubbish? These usually go hand in hand, you know. They made it onto my list about four times each.
4. If you've met the giants, were they all the same? There's a part of me that's resistant to things being black and white, but I know this isn't a good time to propose that. Then again, it took me a very long time to see that myself.
There are ... more, you know. Questions. But I might look for them myself.
Though writing all this has suddenly made me remember doing homework.

1) I think the gods are nice enough folk. I mean, they could up the hacking-and-slashing availability, buuut apart from that they're great! I really recommend the wolf god. He eats people!
2) I dunno what you have, but if it's one of those weird healing things... I guess someone has to play the cleric?
3) Find stuff to slaughter and, uh- slaughter it. Sorry, I'm really not the one to ask about teaching. I just kind of hit stuff until it dies~ But I also got one of the awesome powers, so that helps! Me, anyway. Sorry about your lame house.
4) All the same what? 'Cause their blood was about the same no matter who you stabbed. A little variation in screaming, but that could've been based on where I hit 'em, nya ha!
Hope that helped!
text;
1. What's the wolf god's name? Just in case I need to avoid him.
2. And I'm not much of a cleric. But you're right. It's one of those 'weird healing things'.
3. What power did you get? I know you're in Hel—someone told me that.
4. ... I don't think your answer on the giants was what I was looking for, but thank you all the same.

2. Short answer: Because one of them saw something in you that they felt suited their house and mindset. What power?
3. The Citadel's got fighting lessons, and Aladdin's Grimoire's Sigil leads the main group of people researching magical runes. Just a heads up, though. Runic tattoos hurt like you would not believe to heal. As for Alchemy, we've got a few scattered alchemists all around and two shops working with the sigil. There's mine and Euri and Draco's. Magic's weak in this world, but it's still there.
4. Most of them are about half again as tall as a human, ruddy for fire and blueish and gray maned for frost. They're strong as oxes, well trained and a few have powers, but most are just big and nasty fighters. As for talking to them, I've met Thiazi's agents before. They're not really the talkative sort. It's a war, and we're on a side to them, like it or not. Most of them would gut you as soon as give you the time of day, but the Vanaheim and Asgard troops would do the same for them. It's not about black and whites so much as there's battle lines already drawn, and you've been stuck on one.
5. Ask away. Never really did homework, but I've heard horror stories.
Text
2. Damage Drain. I don't particularly like that answer. I knew that answer.
3. How do you get involved with these runes? And how did Malfoy end up owning a shop, anyway?
4. Has anyone tried fighting for them? Don't worry—it's not something I'd ever be interested in. I'm only curious.
And I'll ask about that if I can't find it anywhere else. I might try to find things for myself. And Hermione would be upset if I didn't ask her some questions.

1. I'm not impressed by any of them.
2. What did you have before that makes your new ability rubbish?
3. There are more ways to fight than physically.
4. Smart boy.
What other sort of questions do you have?
text.
Er, just so I'm clear.
1. Why not? Did they do anything or are they just seemingly incompetent?
2. I had a lot of magic. And I could teleport. Er, that's not the word for it, but that's the easiest way to explain it. That was a part of the magic, though.
3. I know that, but I'm not very good at a lot of them.
4. I'm not sure what that means.
Some of them are ... selfish. Others are wondering if bad things happen all the time. That sort of thing. And some of the others are more idle. The types of things I think when I read things on here.
text;
As for your questions:
1. I hold no opinion towards them.
2. What type of power do you currently possess? I only know of two abilities that some have shown disappointment towards.
3. If you wish to learn to hone your new skills or learn the best ways to use them, then I suggest attending the Teacher Council Meeting. Merlin-san is in charge of organizing them every month.
4. I have met two different strands of them, I believe. One group look like actual giants while another group took the form of humans except for one important detail which gave themselves away.
If you have any more questions, I do not mind offering as much insight as I can. I apologize if I was unable to properly fill your curiosity.
text;
And, to keep this organised:
2. And my power is Damage Drain. I know it'll be useful for other people, but I don't like waiting for someone to be hurt. It really isn't my style ... so to speak.
3. I ... will definitely speak to Merlin, though.
4. What were the giants like, though?
And ... well, out of curiosity, do you like anything here? Or have you seen a lot of friends or acquaintances hurt?

2. Powers are given by the god of the House you belong to. You were placed in that House because the god in question found your personality or another characteristic relating to him or her.
3. Perhaps you are looking at the power given to you through an angle that does not allow you to see its usefulness. With time, you may find it useful. However, there are several travelers offering lessons; I can't, unfortunately, direct you to any of them in particular seeing I don't know who.
4. It depends on what you mean by "all the same". Physically, no, they are not. Regarding the psychological aspect, I never had the chance to speak to them.
[TEXT]
2. Do you happen to know what characteristic makes you end up with Heimdall? They wouldn't tell me—the maids, I mean.
3. I know now, but thanks.
4. I didn't think they'd be the same that way. I don't know why all of them would want us dead. That's all.

2. There's most likely a use for it if you try.
3. Learn mundane skills.
4. I'd assume that, like anywhere, the people in those kingdoms aren't reflections of their leaders.
text;
2. Yes, I know what the use is. I'm still not certain I like it.
3. I figured that, thanks.
4. Then what do you think will happen to them if we win?

1- Liking them really varies, but there's definite differences between liking and relying on them. I mean, we all kind of got dragged here and we've all got powers from them, I'm pretty sure even the people who hate them rely on them to some extent there.
And re: blaming them, yeah, that happens when it's sort of their fault we ended up here. Think a lot of people kind of expect gods to be able to take care of absolutely everything. Y'know, going off the whole 'omniscient and omnipotent' sort of definition there. Pretty sure we wouldn't be here if they could.
2- Good question. Asked myself why I had mine an awful lot when I first got here, I don't really have an answer for that one but welcome to the 'can't we just fucking trade' club. You can be vice-president.
3- Pretty much the same answer as above. Trying to learn useful stuff that doesn't involve it, on my end.
4- Only time I 'met' any they were sort of trying to kill us, so... yeah. That's the only experience with giants that I've got. I mean, I'd assume unless they're all cloned or something there's some variation there, but I'd also kinda figure that considering the whole war thing we're mostly gonna see the ones that have some interest in kicking our collective ass.
[text]
1. It doesn't sound like some find the very reliable. But maybe it's all talk. There's a reason why I thought it a few times.
And that makes sense. Maybe it's us who have to adjust our definitions.
2. Brilliant. I always wanted to be the vice president of something. What power did you end up with?
3. I have a few leads. I hope they pan out.
4. Yeah, we'd only meet soldiers. Of course soldiers aren't going to stand back. Or hold back.

1. Opinion on the gods varies widely. Some like them all, others hate them all, and many are inbetween. Several of the gods are unlikeable and untrustworthy, and others are the opposite, or so they seem.
2. What power do you possess?
3. Several individuals here offer lessons in various forms regarding fighting and weapons usage. The Citadel in particular has a focus on such.
4. I have not met any of the giants myself.
[text]
2. Damage drain.
3. I will look into the Citadel, then.
Thank you.

2. That I could not say. What power?
3. I teach self-defense. There are also classes at the Citadel, especially if you would like to learn a weapon.
4. They are probably as all the same as we are, but they want to end the worlds, which makes me predisposed to be less than sympathetic.
no subject
2. Damage drain. It'll be useful for others, I know, but I'll have to change things a bit.
3. I could take some self-defence. It might be a better way to start, considering. I don't tend to go for the kill when I fight.
4. But do they all want to? And honestly, why do they want to? Wouldn't that be bad for them, too?

2. Donno much about your power boyo, but mine, ironically enough, suit me well. Though I've been downgraded...I lost all of my other abilities when I came here, including all of my own magic runes. That's rubbish.
3. I could teach you how to fight...it's one of those skill sets you learn.
4. There are giants? I need to get my ass in gear and check this place out!
video
2. What'd you end up with instead? Er, or that was the same.
3. What do you use to fight? I'd be up for it.
4. ... There are giants, yeah. Though I guess they don't look much like giants.

not all of them, but i guess i sort of understand it?
either the worlds need to be helped or this is some sort of crazy fever dream on my part :p
also: hi, harry potter
the gun lessons are always on the table, btw
but i wont hold it against you if you choose to go a route that is traditionally more non-lethal
lots of people do

I might take you up on them even if I don't use it. I've a lot of offers now, so now I'm thinking I'll see what works best.

I think it's only natural that some people may like the Gods because of the circumstances in their own world. I know several people that have their own reasons, but yeah there are people that like the Gods.
Also, what power do you have?
-text- I am so sorry I didn't mean to miss your comment!
I can see how it would be different, too, and some people have informed me of that. In some cases, it's the reverse: they don't like the gods because of what happened in their own worlds.
And I have damage drain.
