Having had a proper look around, everything that people have said on here either is something very, very important and likely needs to be said or is someone trying to live their lives. To tell you the truth, I don't actually know what 'living your lives' here means yet, but so far, I'm starting to have a starker view on things. Or, well, I've affirmed my belief that having a starker view is normal. We are at war, after all.

But it's because of that that I haven't said much yet myself. I don't really know where to begin. I mean, beyond 'hello' and that didn't seem like it was good enough. 'Hello, I'm Harry Potter'. Right. None of you lot would even care about that. So, in an attempt to not come up with rubbish like that, I started writing down questions. They aren't any good, but I figure it's as good of a place to start than anything else. So I'll get on with that.

1. Does anyone here like the gods? I mean, beyond a few who like their noble sacrifices and the like. Trust me, I can see how that's appealing. And is there a difference between liking and relying on them? I actually wrote about six different variations of this down. It seems to be a thing that comes up a lot—blaming them for things, I mean.

2. Why do I have such a rubbish power?

3. How do I learn how to fight because my power is so rubbish? These usually go hand in hand, you know. They made it onto my list about four times each.

4. If you've met the giants, were they all the same? There's a part of me that's resistant to things being black and white, but I know this isn't a good time to propose that. Then again, it took me a very long time to see that myself.

There are ... more, you know. Questions. But I might look for them myself.

Though writing all this has suddenly made me remember doing homework.

Hey, I can answer some of these!

1) I think the gods are nice enough folk. I mean, they could up the hacking-and-slashing availability, buuut apart from that they're great! I really recommend the wolf god. He eats people!

2) I dunno what you have, but if it's one of those weird healing things... I guess someone has to play the cleric?

3) Find stuff to slaughter and, uh- slaughter it. Sorry, I'm really not the one to ask about teaching. I just kind of hit stuff until it dies~ But I also got one of the awesome powers, so that helps! Me, anyway. Sorry about your lame house.

4) All the same what? 'Cause their blood was about the same no matter who you stabbed. A little variation in screaming, but that could've been based on where I hit 'em, nya ha!

Hope that helped!

Yay! Glad they were interesting.

1) Aw, why would you want to avoid him? He won me a wolf toy at the carnival once! His name's Fenrir.

2) Hey, at least healing powers don't prevent you from stabbing guys the old fashioned way?

3) Huh, someone has? But yep! Hel it is, with shadow control! It's nifty, there's a whole lot of deadly things I can create!

4) Not all that surprised I got it wrong! What kind of thing were you looking for?

1) C'mon, being eaten by a giant wolf would be amazing! Can you think of a death that would be even half as cool? I don't think so! But thanks~ Though I don't feel like much of a kindred spirit. I don't think I've eaten a single person yet.

2) You're not? Then what's wrong with embracing your inner healer?

3) ...I do? Nya ha! Wonder how? Haven't even mutilated anything but giants so far. And I guess it is, huh? Good thing I love danger!

4) Ohh, THAT kind of knowing. Can't help you there! But I bet they have wives and kids and stuff like that.

1. I think a few of them do. Loki and I get along reasonably well, and I don't mind Freyr. The rest are what I'd call an antagonistic but professional relationship where I choose not to shout at them on a regular basis for idiot tactics.

2. Short answer: Because one of them saw something in you that they felt suited their house and mindset. What power?

3. The Citadel's got fighting lessons, and Aladdin's Grimoire's Sigil leads the main group of people researching magical runes. Just a heads up, though. Runic tattoos hurt like you would not believe to heal. As for Alchemy, we've got a few scattered alchemists all around and two shops working with the sigil. There's mine and Euri and Draco's. Magic's weak in this world, but it's still there.

4. Most of them are about half again as tall as a human, ruddy for fire and blueish and gray maned for frost. They're strong as oxes, well trained and a few have powers, but most are just big and nasty fighters. As for talking to them, I've met Thiazi's agents before. They're not really the talkative sort. It's a war, and we're on a side to them, like it or not. Most of them would gut you as soon as give you the time of day, but the Vanaheim and Asgard troops would do the same for them. It's not about black and whites so much as there's battle lines already drawn, and you've been stuck on one.

5. Ask away. Never really did homework, but I've heard horror stories.

1) Noooot unless I'm really hungry and there's no other options? It sounds like half the fun is in the crunching and tearing, and my little human jaws would totally not be able to do it justice.

2) There's not? I guess if you're the complicated sort, you can stab people AND heal them, but that always sounded like it'd be awkward. Unnecessarily conflicting?

3) Ha! I'm nothing special. I just really love slaughter.

4) Probably! I never get into the politics of these things. Who knows, maybe we're the aggressors, and the other guys don't want to end the universe or whatever-it-is at all. Maybe they'd rather be back tilling their giant fields and going swimming. What I DO know is that they spatter really well.

Hello Harry Potter. I'm the TARDIS.

1. I'm not impressed by any of them.

2. What did you have before that makes your new ability rubbish?

3. There are more ways to fight than physically.

4. Smart boy.

What other sort of questions do you have?

There is nothing wrong in offering a simple greeting of introduction as we have all done so once before. [Except him, of course.] Nor is there anything wrong in asking questions, no matter how simple they may be to you. There are no wrong questions especially when it comes to one's survival.

As for your questions:

1. I hold no opinion towards them.

2. What type of power do you currently possess? I only know of two abilities that some have shown disappointment towards.

3. If you wish to learn to hone your new skills or learn the best ways to use them, then I suggest attending the Teacher Council Meeting. Merlin-san is in charge of organizing them every month.

4. I have met two different strands of them, I believe. One group look like actual giants while another group took the form of humans except for one important detail which gave themselves away.

If you have any more questions, I do not mind offering as much insight as I can. I apologize if I was unable to properly fill your curiosity.

1. Kidnapping the unwilling to participate in their war. Bringing small children and involving them. Giving the unprepared powers and generally not keeping control of the situation. Bad communication. hiding information.

And more. It's a long list.

2. Heimdall, eh? His powers are all support. They're designed to make sure everyone works that much better. Drain's tougher, though, since you really need to be careful how much you take away. It can help healers heal more effectively, and make it possible to fight through minor injuries with poultices.

But it's a razor's edge. I'm sure you've figured that out already.

3. Euridice owns it jointly, and it's really her shop. He does a lot of their research along with him, or at least that's how I think it worked. As for how they got it, they took out a loan and we got licenses over at Utgard to work with the magical herbs.

On runes, talk to Merlin, and he should be able to help you out, or Aladdin. They know the most about runes.

4. Good. Yes. I've seen at least one or two. I don't think they're hear anymore. The one I knew for sure about was a shadow-wielder, and powerful.

1. I do like them.

2. Powers are given by the god of the House you belong to. You were placed in that House because the god in question found your personality or another characteristic relating to him or her.

3. Perhaps you are looking at the power given to you through an angle that does not allow you to see its usefulness. With time, you may find it useful. However, there are several travelers offering lessons; I can't, unfortunately, direct you to any of them in particular seeing I don't know who.

4. It depends on what you mean by "all the same". Physically, no, they are not. Regarding the psychological aspect, I never had the chance to speak to them.

1. Some do. Most don't. They all have different personalities regardless.

2. There's most likely a use for it if you try.

3. Learn mundane skills.

4. I'd assume that, like anywhere, the people in those kingdoms aren't reflections of their leaders.

May as well stick a few more answers in here, yeah? Bigger sample size, better research, etc. etc.

1- Liking them really varies, but there's definite differences between liking and relying on them. I mean, we all kind of got dragged here and we've all got powers from them, I'm pretty sure even the people who hate them rely on them to some extent there.

And re: blaming them, yeah, that happens when it's sort of their fault we ended up here. Think a lot of people kind of expect gods to be able to take care of absolutely everything. Y'know, going off the whole 'omniscient and omnipotent' sort of definition there. Pretty sure we wouldn't be here if they could.

2- Good question. Asked myself why I had mine an awful lot when I first got here, I don't really have an answer for that one but welcome to the 'can't we just fucking trade' club. You can be vice-president.

3- Pretty much the same answer as above. Trying to learn useful stuff that doesn't involve it, on my end.

4- Only time I 'met' any they were sort of trying to kill us, so... yeah. That's the only experience with giants that I've got. I mean, I'd assume unless they're all cloned or something there's some variation there, but I'd also kinda figure that considering the whole war thing we're mostly gonna see the ones that have some interest in kicking our collective ass.

1- Ties in with the expectations, I think. People probably need to dial them down a bit-- I mean, I'm not totally happy with them, but I don't think I've run into any I'm really displeased with.

2- Body control. Which is still useful, to be fair, I just... don't like using it. Feels a bit wrong. How about yours?

3- If you don't have any luck, I might be able to pass on a lead or two of my own. Give me a ping if they fail to pan out.

4- You'd have to dig a bit deeper than that, and... well. Good luck. Not that it might not be worth a shot and all, but I have no idea how you'd even go about finding any others.

5- and does talking in lists feel as weird to you as it does to me? this'd be all over the place otherwise though, I guess.
