2 Cactus Spines [Text]

[So… colors will form and overtake the grey if there’s enough social interaction, right? And supposedly, people can also strengthen their abilities…

Keeping that in mind, Gaara activates the bracelet. There’s something he doesn’t understand, anyway. Maybe he can get some answers to satisfy his curiosity.]

Since there is no established judicial system in this world, punishment was exacted by the people that captured him. In this case, killing the perpetrator was the most efficient method for ensuring the safety of the general public. He was a repeat offender, and refused to relent.

Why do so many of you oppose this decision?

I was speaking about the first time he was found and incarcerated, sir. Not what he has done a short while ago.

[As for the rest, he will offer the same response as before.]

I hold no opinion over the matter. I am only speaking of what had occurred by offering you as much information as I can. Am I correct to believe you were not present in Asgard at the time he was found out as a spy or when there was an open discussion held by the deities over a proper sentence to bestow upon him?

If memory serves correctly, it took place during our trip to Utgard. The exact date... [Give him a moment to look through his notebook.] On Day 271 or 272. It would seem as thought I do not entirely remember as I was not the one who was in charge of capturing him.

Then you might have been absent during the discussion. It would have been difficult to miss such a moment as all of Asgard were heavily discussing over the matter. The deities were even present as they wished to both listen to those who wished to share their opinions while trying to keep the peace and order between them. We had a few whom were not so thrill over the matter of listening, then having a civil discussion over it.
