I am well aware that these past days have been rather trying for all. Many were injured and even lost.

[Her gaze drops for a moment and then she's looking back up, her hands resting almost primly on her knees.]

I know it is not a lot, but if any are interested, I always have a pot of tea and plenty of cups for those who wish to come and talk. Or if talking is not something you are interested in, some tea and a few moments of silence. I know it is not much, but it is something I can offer.

Tea's always a nice thing to have.

[Normally, Soushi would pay no attention to such offers of talking or anything to do with opening up, but at the mention of tea -- he could always make an exception.]

You are too kind for offering such a delicacy. Kind, generous, and very thoughtful. If I may be allowed to, can I accept your invitation? It has been some time since I've had tea time with another.... [More like, he used to have tea with Ayame, but the habit was lost after leaving the household.]

In the grand scheme of things, it truly isn't much. [But offering comfort of any kind is what she does. Tea just happens to be what's on the plate today.] But thank you. Would you be interested in a cup?
