☄ 2nd Landing || Video
[See the woman. See the naked woman clutching a darkened version of this to her chest. The video looks like it's taken outside the castle if the background is anything to go by and from a low point of view, considering she's sitting on the ground. She doesn't seem to care that she's naked but luckily (or perhaps unluckily) the architectural reconfiguration circuit gives her some sense of privacy, as does the piece of what looks like scrap metal that's laying across her lap.]
[Confused and frowning, the TARDIS is certainly unhappy at this particular moment. Her tone is a bit snippy, verging on the edge of something worse.]
That was...I am. [p a u s e] I've returned. And I'm lacking in clothing. That's a thing most of you humans disapprove of, isn't it? Could someone bring me something to wear? I'd rather not distress those who'd be offended by my naked vessel. Even a bedsheet would do.
Doctors, dear, are you still here? I'd hate to have returned only for you to have run off on me. Are the rest of you strays still living in that house in Odin? It was getting a bit crowded last I was there.
[She shifts, not once loosening her grip on the strange orb.]
I'd be grateful if someone could fill me in on what I've missed since I left. It's been a while. A lot of things can happen.
[A small huff.] Hello again, Asgard and its temporary people. I'm... [What does she go with? Last time Eleven was flaily when she introduced herself as Sexy.] ...the TARDIS, that's what you can call me.

[Luckily for everyone (gods especially), it's no joke or trick. If it was then Asgard would be in trouble.]
[A scoff at the mention of the gods. Someone apparently doesn't think very highly of them.] The so-called gods can't help what they do here half the time either. They're rubbish at inter-dimensional travel - like a snatch-and-grab. [Six and the TARDIS can be unimpressed and upset at them together.] Suppose it might have been too much for them this time round. I already had some extra baggage.
[Doesn't even blink at the fact that he's pointing it out.]
Curly is bringing clothes.
[All the times he's come for her when she needed him - she can return the act.] Only when you're lost.
[And he is so terribly lost right now.]
no subject
I don't doubt it, otherwise they wouldn't have trapped so many of me here. [Honestly, most people should know by now that trapping even one of him anywhere is a massive pain in the neck, why would they want four? And a half, even.]
I'm always lost without you. [Apparently we're going for incredibly sappy tonight... either that, or he's starting to turn maudlin.]
no subject
When I left there was only two and half of you. Looks like they thought that wasn't enough.[She's also very well-aware that other Doctors had been here in the past.] I am glad for one thing though.
[The TARDIS smiles at him knowingly.] My beautiful thief, I always know where you are.
no subject
It's four and a half now. [He doesn't know if they're the same Doctors she knew or different, but there it is.] Well... three and a half, after the... no. Four. Four and a half, definitely. [Don't mind him muttering to himself, he's just trying to be both as accurate and as hopeful as possible. It's tricky.] Oh? What's that, then?
[His smile softens a bit into something less bittersweet.] And I'm very glad of it. [Pause.] "Thief"? Since when have I stolen anything, I'm not a thief.
no subject
[There it is - that feeling that something is terribly wrong that's settled in her stomach.] So it's you, Eight, Nine, Theta and Eleven then. [Putting together pieces of who's who from various conversations.
[Despite the dread that's lingering over the conversation she manages a smile.] That we can talk - with words. And do things that had been impossible before.
[Ah, that's what she likes to see.] I'll always come when you need me. [No joke.] You've stolen me! And I stole you.
no subject
[Which makes him feel clever just long enough to work out that he'll still have to explain it to her... after she gets here. So he'll have to do it in person. :|
But that aside.]
Oh, yes. I see. Yes, that's very... different. [But good-different.]
I know. [A blink. No I didn't! I borrowed you. And it wasn't like you belonged to anyone, anyway.
no subject
[No need for him to dwell into the story and feel the need for more alcohol.]
[Her words come out quick.] Borrowing implies the eventual intention to return the thing that was taken. What makes you think I would ever give you back?
no subject
[More blinking as he tries to follow her logic.] You didn't steal me... did you?
no subject
[Oh how little he knows.] Of course I did. Do you think I wanted to sit around collecting dust for the rest of my days?
no subject
[Hmm, words are getting harder, that's not a good sign.]
Why me?
no subject
Of course it doesn't. I sat there for...I'm not even sure how long it was before you came along.
[A bit of a pause.]
You were the only one mad enough. The only one who wanted to leave. Now though, now it's because I love you.
no subject
[Though it would probably be wiser to ask for one, at this point.]
I'm not ssure if that's a commed--comment--good thing or a bad thing.
...the mad bit, not the love bit.
no subject
[It will help when the drinkings done and the hangover starts.]
It's a good thing. Most of your species aren't mad enough to up and leave to explore the universe.
no subject
That'sh because most of 'em are dull as dishwater.
[And the rest... well, let's not talk about the not-dull ones right now.]
no subject
There are certainly more interesting things to see out in the universe.
[Let's talk about something else entirely.]
no subject
[He's more than happy to talk about other things.]
Did you have one in mind? We've sheen a lot've in'tresting things together, old girl.
no subject
[Just so he knows.]
We've been spending quite a bit of time on Earth lately.
no subject
[Want to go, need to go... either way, he knows she does things she wants to from time to time. Or more often than that.]
Don't we usually? 'Sa lovely planet, isn't it?
no subject
[There are plenty of times she's been surprised by him. It's only fair to return the favor. Some of those are complete accidents thanks to his fiddling.]
I've grown fond of it over the years. However, seven of our last eleven adventures were on the planet. Usually we get out a bit more.
no subject
Were they really?
[A pause, where he appears to think very hard about that one.]
...you know, I do b'lieve you might be right, old girl. Hmmm. [Or if his counting is a bit off, it certainly seems that the majority of his recent escapades happened there, now that he thinks about it.] Well! We're not on earth now, are we? An' I can fix that when we get back to our universe.
no subject
They were. Various points of time, of course. I visited the South Pole by myself.
[He likes the planet a lot. It's not really surprising to find themselves there.]
All of your faces do love that planet. There are stretches of time when we don't visit at all. [A good portion of his companions are from Earth too.] We certainly aren't. Where will you take us?
[Even though she knows the answer - probably better than him.]
no subject
Is there a particular reason you wanted t'go there?
[He hadn't thought there was anything interesting in the south pole. Just a lot of snow and penguins, which, ok, are interesting in a way. Frobisher was certainly an interesting companion.]
Oh... well, we're on Világ now. I'm not sure where next, I think we're goin' to stay there a while.
no subject
It was as far away from the North Pole as I could get without leaving the planet. You accidentally reset the HADS when you were tinkering around.
[Wasn't really looking to do anything there except find a safe place.]
Ah, Világ. I remember that place.
no subject
[It's only a little defensive; he's made that particular mistake at least as often as he's meant to do that intentionally.]
Mmm, they've got a rather nice garden. The singing flowers are... uh, especially interesting.
[...somehow he managed to say that without stumbling too badly, either he's sobering up or he's just getting better at talking in this condition.]
no subject
[She's not offended or hurt at all by it. In fact, she's rather glad of it. There was a lot of water where they'd landed.]
Suppose it's better than what they could have done.
[Probably not a good thing if he's getting used to it.]
