[ Kaworu shows up to the network with his familiar smile. What isn’t familiar, it’s his plugsuit and the headset (it’s better than showing up naked). He is currently in front of the castle, which means he is back from his canon update. ]

Hello. I have been in Asgard before, but I’m not sure how long it has been since I left. [ or who is around ] I’m still in Sigyn House and I still have my healing power. [ since he can’t grow anything, by exclusion, he gets the Healing ]

[ there is a pause, as he looks around, perhaps trying to figure out where to go. In the end, he heads towards Odin District, turning to the bracelet one last time and smiling brightly ] It’s good to be back.

[ he does like this place, a lot. And with a smile, he finally turns off the video ]

More than the state of being alive, I would consider living to be allowed to know others and form connections with them and the world around you. To move on and go on, to reach for more and hope for further. To learn. To grow. To become.

Optimistic and not extremely ambitious, aren't you?

You seem to have a more poetic view of life.

I have no need for ambitions. I'm not important, after all. [ not important enough to have them ]

The way I see life is different than yours because I'm not the same as you. [ in other words ] I'm not human.

I feel the statement would have been true whether or not you were human

[Octavian eases back in his chair. He's been here long enough to begin to be acclimated to the idea and presence of non-humans]

Individuals in and of themselves are different.

But why do you claim to be unimportant?

Though I'm not an individual.

That's exactly why I'm not important.

[A frown]

I do not understand.

Unlike you, my kind isn't meant to live. We are alive, as one, even though each holds their individual bodies. We work as one, we feel as one and we exist as one.

We do not have individuality for it would only bring us pain. [ though. kaworu is a very special case. ]

[Octavian goes quiet a moment to let that sink in]

...so all thoughts are shared in unity?

We share our feelings and thoughts, yes. Just like our flaws and our strengths. There are no borders limiting us. There is no you and there is no I.

There is us.

[ Kaworu pauses, but he smiles softly ]

I don't know. I hold many contradictions within me. Though, I believe they existed before I arrived here - being here made them obvious, however.

I am capable of individual acts, of seeing individuality and capable of growth. I'm capable of living.

Then I am glad for you.

I don't know if it's something to be glad for. It's strange because it's a contradictions. But I have learned it's alright as well.

[ but enough about Kaworu ]

Have you found anything you enjoy, in Asgard?

Perhaps the library. It is well stocked with texts from my world.

Do you have anyone from your world here?

No one that I knew in my world, no. But many did recognize the name of Rome...some were almost overly eager to discuss it.

Are there any from yours?

I can understand why. [ isn't it their past, in a way? Some people enjoy learning about it. ]

No, there aren't.

Would you like if you had people you know here, with you?

How so?

[He thinks a moment]

I suppose, but I can't really think who I would like to be here with me to begin with.

I can give you the example of my own world. Rome, just like many other places, are gone. To meet someone who is able to live during that time, even if it's not the same world, may help humans to understand how it was and how it changed. They look to the past, not just because they are curious, but also in order to hope for the present and future.

[ kaworu really is philosophical. Poet, if you'd rather call him. ]

Gone? [Simple as that? Sour on the tongue and cold.] I suppose I should not feel so surprised...civilizations rise and fall......

...Many reasons. My family and I are on complicated terms, and my friends are mostly soldiers who would feel restless and trapped in this place.

[ kaworu smiles a little. ] Such happened in my world. I do not know about yours.

I'm sorry to hear that. I hope you will find someone to sooth your stay here, though. So you won't just feel captured.
