[ The video opens to show an annoyed young man, with his arms folded, and his jaw twitching with restrained anger. ] So after getting what I take is the usual introduction spiel, let me get this straight: I'm trapped in this city of gods because the gods need someone to fix their problems and I have no choice in any of this. Is that right? [ He unfolds his arms. ] Because if that's the case, then I'm going to have to decline the great lodgings and excellent living benefits, because I've got more important, particularly pressing matters to tend to back home.

[ Eugene closes his eyes, trains his jaw to not twitch and settles his feature. He wants to appeal to these gods, so he should be softer-spoken, right? Normally, Eugene wouldn't use this kind of manner with kidnappers, but as Rapunzel is back home, about to embark on a whole new chapter of her life with her real parents, he can't not take a risk. ]

Look. Freyja -- that's your name, right? Well, Freyja, you are supposed to stand for love, right? You not realize this but, I've got this girl back home who is pretty important to me. In fact...I think I love her. [ He reaches an arm behind his neck and rubs at it anxiously, looking away from the device, suddenly bashful, which hasn't happened since he was a kid. ] Her name's Rapunzel, and she's...she's everything to me. And I think she loves me, too. So...

[ He clasps his hands together and gives the device a very earnest look. ] Isn't it kind of counteractive to your station to separate two people in love?

[Rapunzel almost fumbles with the bracelet upon hearing and seeing the familiar face and voice, wanting to reassure him, unsure whether him being here or back home was better. But he was here, and he looked fine. Most of what he said went out the window with that being the most important thing for her. That he was okay, after the last she recalled was seeing him climbing back through her tower window to try and rescue her, knowing that Gothel was right there behind him.]

Even before the Eugene mentioned he was looking for Rapunzel, Leonardo knew he would be asking about her. There had been an event here in Asgard that had left a lasting image in the artist's mind.
He didn't know much about the other man of course. Just that he and Rapunzel were close and that he had tried to save her from a dark-haired crazy lady...]

I am so glad to see you alive and well! I am sure Rapunzel will be so glad to see you too!

[But mostly alive! The last time he seen that face Eugene had met an untimely death. It had been a very real... very sad dream. ]

And it was love? I thought so! The way she acted...

[But he was rambling and probabally just being confusing. Deep breath and cycle it down a notch.]

Eugene grins like he's a silly schoolboy. ]

...well. Good thing he was about 90% over his past crush on Rapunzel. As it stands though he's taking the time to briefly analyze the other man. Of course Rapunzel would choose him for her travels. Suddenly a lot more about Rapunzel herself made sense, and he really knows he shouldn't be poking his head where it doesn't belong, but when has that ever stopped him.]

You do realize you've just announced that to the city at large, don't you? [A soft snort.] Anyway save the dramatics for someone else. Rapunzel's here and she's fine, unless you know of another Rapunzel.

Hey. There is nothing wrong with telling the girl you love that you love her. [ And he's been through death and back, so he doesn't really care if someone sees it as weak or degrading. It isn't. He knows it. Rapunzel knows it. That's all that matters. ]

Even though she stands for love, Freya - like all the other gods here - isn't really big on sending people home when they want. As far as I can tell, there's no real pattern to being sent home.
