I don't know. I've not met any nasty sorts... even the half-demon I spoke to seems really quite nice. Only that nasty Thor but I don't know if he's the sort to... murder and poison people.

The one here? I don't think he's interested in us, to be honest. ( and the one she knew at home seemed a little .. dim for using poison. oh, no, alice, you should worry about the woman you just met. )

Is there some other Thor here? [She's only met the one and she didn't like him in the slightest. And Alice doesn't have any sense to be worried about the woman in front of her.]

I don't think so either, I don't think any of the gods are interested in us beyond bringing us here.

Not here. I know one at home. ( and perhaps the gods are more interested in the travelers than they know? Natasha has yet to decide. )

They have to have some interest. We are fighting a war for them.

Oh well, I spoke with Mr. Odin, he's very... well, he's much nicer than Mr. Thor, but I think a cold is nicer than Mr. Thor. Is your Mr. Thor nice?

( Mr. Thor? .. When she gets home, she's calling him that, end of story. )

Thor is .. 'nice'. He's not the sharpest tool in the shed, however.

He is .. an acquaintance. ( does team member sound weird? friend wouldn't be stretching it, but that word is strange for her. )

Oh well, I'm sure your ah, acquaintance Mr. Thor will come here some day or you'll go home.

Do you think one day you'll also go home? Just out of the blue?

I don't... know. I've not been here a very long time. I want to go home though. I miss my family. Do you want to go home?

I'd like to go on vacation.

( you know, that doesn't really answer her question. )

That isn't what I asked, miss. If you don't want to answer the question it would be politer to say that instead.

This is a vacation, too. And you'll find that not a lot of people here will answer directly about whether or not they want to go home. It's more complicated than that for most.

I had a vacation booked somewhere sunny. And warm. I like the beach.

Oh! That sounds lovely! I've only ever been to the beach once in my entire life! But I hear there are all sorts of lovely beaches and warm sunny weather in India! Perhaps you should visit there! And they have all those bright pretty clothes!
