[The face of a young woman appears on screen, at first confused, but once the feed cuts in all the way she smiles proudly.]

Ah, hello! I think I've gotten this figured out now. It works kind of like recording spheres, right...?

Um, anyway, now that I've got it, my name is Yuna and I'd like to tell you a quick story, if you feel like listening.

[A warm smile.]

Actually, it has to do with everyone else's stories, too. You see, everyone is connected... and just when you think you might never have something to do with someone, you're actually intertwined!

I've been fortunate to meet so many people, and hear their stories. Now their stories are in my memory, so they're a part of my own.

[She seems a bit surprised. Apparently she didn't expect anyone to actually want to hear her side of things.]

Ah, my story? Well...

Where I came from, there is a great evil called Sin, and there are summoners who pray to our god for the power to defeat Sin. My father became one of those summoners when I was just a little girl... and I became one too, not that long ago, to follow in his footsteps.

Well, that's how I got started, anyway.

I do believe so. At least, somewhat... We're given that power, but it never seems that Sin is vanquished.

Honestly, I've never questioned the truth of it.

Yes... I suppose it's because I had faith, and that in turn gave everyone else hope.

But now I think I've learned to doubt, at least a little.

Sometimes it seems as though the pieces don't quite fit together...

[Yuna seems lost in thought for a moment, but then she shakes her head.] Ah, I've talked about myself enough, I think. Thank you for humoring me, though.

Do you regret being a summoner, even if there are pieces that don't fit together?

[For a moment, Yuna seems rather caught off-guard that she's being urged to talk more. She probably thought it rude to ramble on just about herself, even if she was being prodded. Still, she smiles briefly.]

Oh, well... No, I don't regret it. Even if the answers aren't there, I was doing this for the sake of other people. I knew from the beginning what doing this meant, more or less, but I still chose this path. It's something I... can never regret.

Isn't it funny, though, how we all end up on different paths that just intersect? [Even if we're all worlds apart, apparently.]

[ he nods ] You have chosen this path, but you may still change it. Do you wish to? Knowing there might be more to it?

[ Kaworu smiles at those words, gently ] It was the desire of the gods from this place.

I am curious about a lot of things... Hmm, but maybe some things can't be answered.

But I suppose since I'm here and not in Spira, I should give thought to what I want to do!

[ Kaworu hums softly ] Have you found out what you can do here?

Am I afraid...? [She repeats Kaworu's question as if asking it to herself as well. When she responds, her voice is very quiet.] Mm, maybe.

I don't really know yet.

Many people fear the unknown. They are afraid it will hurt them, in a way.

But it may also bring many good things. It may be hard to see it at first, but eventually good will come.

[Yuna pauses for a moment before she responds, as if taking in what Kaworu said. She nods, though.] I do agree.
