Ah, hello! I think I've gotten this figured out now. It works kind of like recording spheres, right...?

Um, anyway, now that I've got it, my name is Yuna and I'd like to tell you a quick story, if you feel like listening.

[A warm smile.]

Actually, it has to do with everyone else's stories, too. You see, everyone is connected... and just when you think you might never have something to do with someone, you're actually intertwined!

I've been fortunate to meet so many people, and hear their stories. Now their stories are in my memory, so they're a part of my own.

Ah, my story? Well...

Where I came from, there is a great evil called Sin, and there are summoners who pray to our god for the power to defeat Sin. My father became one of those summoners when I was just a little girl... and I became one too, not that long ago, to follow in his footsteps.

Well, that's how I got started, anyway.

Well, it's certainly not my job or anything, if that's what you mean. It's something I enjoy doing, and it's probably a bit of a habit... [There's a bit of melancholy in her voice, but she doesn't seem too keen on detailing that very much.]

But, everyone has a story to tell, and I want to be someone that people feel they can share it with.

Not all stories are worth telling, and not all stories are ones people want to hear.

[There's a tired, nasty, wooden quality to her voice as she says it. To the storyteller, it hints at a tale filled with blood, pain and unnecessary amounts of angst about that pain.]

Mm, I understand. But I would still like to hear those of anyone who is willing to tell me, no matter the content.

If someone's not willing... well, I guess that in itself tells a tale.

The stories of monsters are only worth really telling when they're the stories of them being killed, not people trying to protect themselves from them and then keeping them around.

Personally I have always found it to be true. Everyone's life is a story, and they're all connected. Sometimes it's fun! Other times, not so much...
