Question.

Say a Traveller really wants to be doing something useful but he or she is coming up short on the ideas front. I'm not talking filling time here, I'm talking taking care of business, touring the facility, picking up slack.

For the sake of this question, let's assume that they're already training with their magical ability (not exactly combat orientated) and learning some fighting skills. But they're kind of new to this whole general public experience and feel like they should be doing more. Let's also assume kind of average in the skills department. I mean, there's stuff they're good at -- really, really good at lbh -- but none of that applies here in no-power central.

Advice?

what kind of projects are you looking into though like

building stuff might be fun or idk starting a business some people have done that

Starting a business would be cool, but I don't have the skills to make anything really useful to this whole war effort and I'm already gainfully employed.

Kind of liking the spending time with grey people idea. I mean, I am pretty good at talking to people anyway, so that shouldn't be too hard. But so many people keep asking me what my skills are that I'm thinking I need to acquire some.

Okay, you ever heard of King Arthur?

Imagine he's a young dude and he doesn't have a beard, but he's here in ASgard and teaching people how to fight and stuff like his knights do. That's the Citadel.

Pretty sure he's from a regular world that just happens to really resemble stuff in books in other worlds. Or maybe the books resemble his world? Either way it's cool.

Maybe he's real and the books aren't? I dunno, and between us, I'm not really gonna ask the guy who decides whether or not I have to do extra drills just where he falls on the old reality scales, you know?
