Two questions, and neither of them have anything to do with each other.

[Oh that's fine, hello to you too, Draco. It's nice to see you sitting in front of what looks like a giant map of...the universe, perhaps. At least it's Draco's thoughts on the universe with various planets, constellations, and the like scattered across it. It should also be noted that Draco's face has a few colored lines on it from the markers, paints and ink he's using. His sleeves are rolled up to his elbows and he's still severely in need of a haircut seeing how his bangs are flopping right in his eyes. He was originally planning to go outside to test his newly leveled-up flight abilities, but with how cold it's been out and how recently he's finally shaken his flu? No. Way. In Hell.

But that's not the important part here. He's not looking at the bracelet as he addresses the city again, but rather he's continuing to etch lines and draw another red circle.]

So. Who do you think you are? And where can I find a decent telescope?

yeah? but I don't know it, Ive never made a delivery there. it's a ten minute walk from their House though

Which is at least a twenty minute walk from here. It may be worth it though to take a look. I miss having mine. [This is more than he would normally admit.]

[ Which is kind of along the lines of what Roxas is thinking! ]

...you like astronomy?

I've studied it for six years formally, nearly sixteen informally. [Ever since he was a baby on Cissy's lap, thank you very much.]

what seriously?? [ He can't even picture this geez. ]

Sort of a family tradition, really.

so your parents taught you? [ That's kinda weird to imagine. Draco with parents that like their bratty son |B ]

My mother, specifically. It was more traditional for her family to deal with the stars and planets.

do you take after her or your dad?

[Ahh the touchy question. He's actually not sure how to respond to this one. Prior to sixth year, he would have immediately said he was just like Lucius, but now...]

What, it can't be both? [Or neither?]

I dunno. guess i'm just curious?

It's kind of hard to say. I suppose I'm more like my father though.

[ ...If that makes Sora and Kairi like his "parents," then who's he like? ]

what's he like?

...it's hard to describe my father. He's powerful. Knows exactly how to use that power, too. He's rather...influential. [Or was before he was thrown into jail and became Voldemort's bitch once he was released, but.]

oh...that sounds kind of tough. sorry. [ Translation: it sounds strict ): ]

[Yeah, he figures that's how people see Lucius. On the one hand, he loves his father fiercely and he'll murder anyone who gets in the way of his family ties. On the other, sometimes Lucius terrifies him.] It doesn't matter. He's not here anyway, so it's not as though he has any influence.

so...is it easier here than back home?

[ ...Why is he even asking him this? Draco's a small twiggy smelly~~proably pristine-smelling~~ jerk BT ]

[Probably for the same reason he's going to answer honestly.]

In certain ways, yes.

[ It's that frank honesty that makes Roxas type out his next reply without really meaning to--it's easier to talk to him like this than face-to-face. Like they can actually hold normal conversations. ]

[ You know, since they were fake and all ]

[He figured as much, given his conversation with Lea. Roxas is less obnoxious when he doesn't have to see or hear him.]

Where did they go? [The parents, the memories, whatever.]

[ There's a noticeable pause. ]

[Very noticeable indeed.]

What else went away?

[ That catches him off guard; for a second his stomach tightens with the sort of nerves he'd get whenever he got in trouble or done something he wasn't supposed to. He's not sure why--but he's also not sure why Draco would ask that either. ]

what do you mean?

Just in general. What else went away? [At first he hadn't meant it to mean anything specific, but with Roxas' reaction? Now he's curious.]
