Two questions, and neither of them have anything to do with each other.

[Oh that's fine, hello to you too, Draco. It's nice to see you sitting in front of what looks like a giant map of...the universe, perhaps. At least it's Draco's thoughts on the universe with various planets, constellations, and the like scattered across it. It should also be noted that Draco's face has a few colored lines on it from the markers, paints and ink he's using. His sleeves are rolled up to his elbows and he's still severely in need of a haircut seeing how his bangs are flopping right in his eyes. He was originally planning to go outside to test his newly leveled-up flight abilities, but with how cold it's been out and how recently he's finally shaken his flu? No. Way. In Hell.

But that's not the important part here. He's not looking at the bracelet as he addresses the city again, but rather he's continuing to etch lines and draw another red circle.]

So. Who do you think you are? And where can I find a decent telescope?

[she sets her chin on her hand, enunciating in such a way that it enhances the lilt of her voice]

I do not think that's how business propositions generally work, Draco.

[she had, truly, been hoping he would ask a different question, although it was an idle hope. the video locks and she takes a deep breath.]

So you're of the agreement that without the powers that make us ourselves in our worlds, we are no longer ourselves?

The proposal obviously is offering a way to regain all things we've lost. That's what I'm working on, Sophie. A revival.

I'm not sure I follow. How would that even be possible?

You've heard of the consequences that occur if we use our original powers, haven't you?

[she is silent for a long time, and there's a subtle war on her face. she knows she's going mad here, slowly, as much as she's trying to hide it, and she knows that being herself again would ease so much of that. but hope is as much a weapon as anything else, in sophie's life, and she's afraid to let him wield that much of it.]

[she's pretty sure it's suicide, that no matter how good he might be there are some things that are impossible. she's also sure that the gods will punish this particular impudence. perhaps she'd really die, and they wouldn't bring her back.
