[The feed turns on to Norman sitting inside of Hel's Welcome Hall's lounge  with his long red scarf wrapped around his neck and a destroyed book on his lap. He's got a slightly nervous smile on, and his hands rub together in a worried manner before strumming along the book.]

Soooooo....who wants to talk about the afterlife?

[Yup, Norman's doing this. That's right, Asgard. There's a 11 year old who wants to talk about death. Although that wasn't the best way to start off this video, and he has to take a deep breath before continuing.]

I'm not actually talking about religious views, but what do you think happens when you die? Uh, I guess religious stuff works too if you really want to talk about that. I've heard a few things about how death works in different worlds, so I thought it would be interesting to hear from more people.

Also, I thought it would be good to talk about it since a lot of people seem to want to help get Freyr back. [Just going to add some not-bizarre reasoning to this.]

So yeah, if you want to say anything, go ahead. If you want to talk about it privately, you can put up a filter. [A pause.] And...if your world has ghosts or you believe in ghosts, that would be great to hear about too.

Uh, I'm not really sure. It might be a perspective thing, but I've never really asked ghosts about why they stuck around personally unless they come to me first about it. There's a lot of ghosts I know who died pretty badly, but there's also some like....uh, this one hippie dude who just floats around and nothing seems to be wrong with him. Another ghost got stabbed through the chest by a tree branch after a parachute accident, I think. She's still stuck to the tree, actually.

[Huuuh, that sounds like a plot for the villain to a zombie movie he once saw. Definitely a bit concerned.] ...They're not normally good guys, are they?

Just curious. A ghost I know died because she met the eyes of the basilisk, but I'm not sure if that would be considered a horrible death. Now the fact that she died in a lavatory? That's horrible.

[...he frowns suddenly.] No. They're not, usually.

...Is she stuck in there? 'Cause that would suck. The ghosts I know don't have to stay in one place.

[Norman frown as well, but it's more on the sad side.] That's...not good. I don't think people would normally want to come back from the dead. [He's thinking of the pilgrims and Agatha's curse. There's not really a good or bad side to it.]

She moves freely around the castle, but I don't believe she's ever left beyond that. Though that could be because no one else wants to deal with her. [He's trying to sound flippant about come on. Myrtle's a bro. Myrtle was totally cool with letting Draco come sob in her bathroom.]

Not unless there's something left to accomplish. Ghosts only have a limited amount of power. Wouldn't you want to come back if you could accomplish something great?

That sounds...lonely. Especially if everyone can see her. [Norman can definitely sympathize.]

Ummm, I don't know. I don't have anything I'd want to do that's considered great. [He likes staying on the down-low.]

Everyone in the castle can see all of the ghosts. They're enough of them to go around, anyway.
