twelfth minute
Honestly, I don't understand how people don't love snow. It's cold, yes, but...overall, it's just very pretty, isn't it? How could you not love that?
[Well, here's a familiar face to some- Cheriour is standing on top of a snow pile, beaming and looking very proud of himself as his clock eyes tick on.]
[He tilts his head quizzically at the camera.]
But I have to say, I'm a bit confused as to what in the world some people do with it! You see, I'e been reading these books about what people do in the snow, and while some things are rather self-explanatory, others are...less so. For example, snowballs I understand, but what in the world is "snowboarding"? Is that like putting boards on snow, or...? And it seems a lot like skiing, too, by the sound of it! Except...I'm at a loss as to what skiing is, too. It sounds fun to say, though, skiing...
[A pause, before he shakes his head.]
Oh, oh, but there was something that I was very intrigued by in the books I read, and I don't really know if I did it correctly or not, but...I made a snow angel!
[And the camera pans over to show, well, this:]

[he smiles widely at the compliment, before looking unsure at that next part.]
I-it's not? What are snow angels, then? I thought they were like snowmen, just more angel-shaped...
[ video ]
[ she doesn't think she's describing this well enough, oh no ]
When you stand up, you should see the shape of an angel where you were just lying.
[ video ] WOW NO WRONG ICON
[A pause.]
How strange! I don't think I've seen anything like that before. I thought it would be a lot more, well, like a snow man than an impression one leaves in the snow...
[ video ] SHH I SAW NOTHING
I admit I favor your literal interpretation of the snow angel. You're quite the snow sculptor.
[ video ]
[ video ]
The best I can do is a snowman, if I really try.
[ video ]
Well, a snow angel isn't that hard to do! I mean, all you do is put up the wings on each side and that's it!
Re: [ video ]
Have you... been around for that long? Really? [ she's never met anyone so old, and he doesn't look very old so maybe he's just pulling her leg? ]
Easier said than done, sir. For all the detail you put into each individual wing, I find myself still in awe.
[ video ]
[He talks about it as matter-of-factly and cheerfully as somebody remarking about how nice the weather is.]
Oh, well now, the detail wasn't too hard...I just took a stick and dragged it through the snow to make the feathers, it wasn't too difficult. Really, if you want to know how to do it, I can totally show you how!
[ video ]
well, it doesn't seem like he's lying, so it must... be true, right? and considering they're from other worlds, then anything is possible isn't it? ]
But to make the feathers look just right, that must've taken a lot of patience. Or maybe you just make it seem easy, because you've done it before?

I'm more of a tinkerer, if you will, though. For example, I'm very proficient at fixing clocks! But even I'm not the best at that, what I have learned have most come from my fellow angels.
[ video ]
Oh, tinkerer! [ ... ... ... wait a second ]
Do you have any experience in fixing machines? If I had to be specific, robots?
[ video ]
And yes, I am! I mean, I haven't fixed an actual robot before, but the older angels are completely mechanical, and me and my brethren fix and tune them from time to time, so...I assume I could, yes!
[ video ]
I ask because I was wondering, just in case something happens, if there was someone in this city who would have capabilities of repairing me.
Which would lead to imply that I'm a robot, myself.
[ video ]
Y-you're a robot, miss? Oh, wow, you're...I didn't even realize that, you're quite well-made, you are!
No, I would love to help you if there are any repairs you need! I'd hate for you to go on and get yourself in trouble because of a gear loose or other such happenstances.
[ video ]
We were designed to be as human as possible, despite having a mechanical structure. We hare many qualities as the average person, but at the end of the day, we need maintenance as much as a regular machine.

I'm the third of a series -- there are three before me, and then four before them. There have been a few after my release, as well.
We also happen to have friends from other music companies, though we're not quite as close with them, but there's no animosity between us.
[ video ]
But...music companies? Is that who you work for? What were you made for, anyways?
[ video ]
My name is Luka Megurine, and I am the third installment of a series of Vocaloids. [ she pauses, waits a second so that he can process the information ] A Vocaloid is an android designed with the intent of singing; we're released into the public as professional singers.
While we're machines at our core, we're also very human-like. We can eat and sleep and do the same activities that the average person can do, though our main purpose and our specialties lie in music.
[ video ]
Professional singers? Oh, wow, I'd love to hear you sing sometime! I mean, I can sing too, but you're made for it, and really, I'd just really, really love to hear you!
And to have a robot made like you, so human...really, humanity is just amazing, it really is, to create marvels like you.

[ she lets out a chuckle ] Technology has certainly advanced within the past few years. Before I came here, I was undergoing some system updates...
[ video ]
System updates? What kinds?
