[The feed starts not with a face, but instead with a view from up above. It seems like someone's activated their bracelet by accident, and judging from the view it looks like the view from the very top of Heimdall's bank. A nice, beautiful aerial view of the city, showcasing some remaining snow on the roofs of some buildings.

At least it was beautiful until there was a jerk and a very loud sneeze.]

...Forgot how cold this place can get.

[Yup, that's Riku's voice, and when the video feed sweeps over to him, he looks a bit different. For starters, he's being a dumb island boy, dressed only in his vest. Checking in on the city and the damage that was still there was apparently more important than finding jacket.

And now, his hair's cut, bangs trimmed so that his eyes are now visible.]

You know, I thought this place was a dream or some vision before. Something that only happened to me. [He never mentioned it to Sora back home. Not if he wanted to be branded 'nuts' or have his friends fret over him.] I guess coming back here makes that theory useless. It's strange. [And not quite how the worlds work back home.]

Would anyone mind telling me what's been happening here. It's... been a while since I've been here.

...And anyone from our world-- ACHOO!

[He rubs a hand over the edge of his nose, sniffing and looking just a bit sheepish for all the sneezes. The islands don't get as cold as this place, and he's certainly not used to it.]

check in with me. [He needs to make sure all his ducks are in order here.]

[It probably seems out of the blue to tell her that. After all, technically, the Organization is finished. All of the Nobodies were defeated and many of them returned to their former selves. It's not the same Organization that she knows, but yet... that's what they called themselves.

And besides, Xemnas and Xigbar had that hidden agenda for creating the Organization in the first place.]

Their plan half succeeded, and he fell asleep. A kind of sleep that you can't wake up from. I... sort of gained this new power, where I could enter his heart and pull him out of it.

[It's both confusing and concerning; it's one thing to know that some day the Organization might show up in Asgard from previous points on the timeline, but them still being around later - she cannot help but be troubled.]

[It's not hard to tell how worried she is just to hear it.]

Did you succeed?

[He'd rather not worry her, but there's no a lot of details he can leave out while trying to explain the whole picture. Besides, he does trust her enough, and she should know, and be allowed to ask any questions she has about the ordeal.

So there's a nod and a smile.]

Yeah, I did. He's back to being normal Sora.

[She'd vastly prefer to know, really. These dealings effect her as well, after all - in more ways than one.]

[The sigh she breathes out is quiet, but it makes clear her relief. It's only a moment late that she thinks to muster a smile back.]

I'm so glad...! Thank you for helping him. [She pauses a moment, still trying to let that sink in, then,] ... What happened next? [Questions can come later.]

[Of course. She is one of the ones that they need to save after all. ~~Regardless of Nomura's say in the matter. bbgirl needs more love.~~

He smiles and nods again, relieved himself to be able to talk about it openly. It was a stressful and desperate time, but it's another reminder that things turned out okay.]

Of course. I couldn't leave him alone, sleeping all the time. Lazy bum.

Next...? Next is training. There's going to be a big battle coming up, like a war of it's own, and we need to prepare.

[He pauses, unsure of how to bring this up.] DO you know someone named Master Xehanort?

[~~Well, she was included in the message, willingly or not. Very much so, yes.~~]

[She's relieved to be trusted with the information, in truth; though it's not a pleasant topic and she otherwise would never have known something to be amiss, now that she is aware that something happened, she very much appreciates being made aware of it, and that she could give him a chance to talk it out. She blinks, smile flickering to life only a moment late.]

Right. You've got to keep him in line. [... Hee.] I know it's a big job.

[Her smile falls as she lets out a long breath, though, after that comment. Her thoughts already start to move toward that, but she realizes after a second that he looks as though he has more to say. She raises her eyes - they'd started to lower - to meet his properly. The question provokes an immediate frown, the answer obvious.]

Yes, I know of him. He's... done terrible things to many people.

[He chuckles lightly. The tease is light enough for him to not get down on himself about it. Sora tries to take care of Riku and Kairi as much as Riku tries with the other boy. The only difference is that one of them knows more. Far more.]

I'm still not sure about who he is exactly, his whole history. Apparently Mickey knows him though. [And that was almost enough to put him on Riku's shit list, plus what he was planning to do with Sora of course.] But The World That Never Was came back and somehow Sora and I were put into the real world version of it. And that was where I met him. Where he told us what the real purpose for the Organization was. He wanted to split up his heart, place it inside vessels and try to unlock something called the X-blade.

[As always, she tries to keep such things light. Ever since the examples set even by his relationships with his friends and other experiences of hers taught her that that was a thing friends did together - joked around like that - she'd taken a gentle approach to it, always conscious that there were ways to go too far and trying to avoid such things.]

--.... That's-- crazy...! [But not necessarily impossible, is it? She's never considered the possibility before, but it does sound like something Xehanort would try to do. She falters, needing a moment to process this - especially since it does cause trouble with certain 'facts' she'd been raised on - then,]

... Did anyone tell you what the X-blade is?

[The small outburst almost makes him smile wearily. It is crazy and he knows there world has gotten complicated, even more so than the traveling to different worlds part. Maybe if he didn't make that mistake years ago, he would be blissfully unaware and ignorant of these things, and just be a normal kid.]

I don't think so. But I know it has something to do with Kingdom Hearts.

[For even her to say that, you know it's gotta be strange. (She would argue that if he hadn't done that, there really may NOT have been any other worlds out there to be ignorant of anymore.)]

[She hesitates, then lets out a slow, quiet sigh, her eyes lowering.]

It does. From what I managed to learn in certain memories, it's... the way to reach Kingdom Hearts. But I thought that it could only be forged when a heart of pure darkness and a heart of pure light, both of equal strength, clashed.

[Certain memories. That honestly sounds like they were originally coming from the trio from long ago. Terra, Aqua and Ven. What he wouldn't give to have one of the older two available to ask them about all this.

He threads his hands together, leaning forward, but trying to keep the blanket on their shoulders.] Maybe there's multiple ways to reach it. The method he was talking about was about thirteen Darknesses and seven Lights clashing against each other.

[He's right on the money there, although ironically they were probably Ven's memories (and his other half's as well, in part). Still, she'd have to agree about it being nice to speak to the others about it.]

[She'll take care of the blanket if necessary, but she leans forward slightly with him in the mean time. At his words, her eyebrows knit.]

... Strange. He would probably know more about it than I would, but-- [... Ugh.] All these plans, all these different methods-- it's getting ridiculous. He lies so much that it's hard to know what the truth really is. ... But no matter what, you can't let him succeed. [... Hm.] Did he explain anything more than that?

[Knowledge is power in this case. Their enemy knows far more than any of them do, and it would be wise to consolidate the information they know. But Riku knows that that's not likely, at least not right now. Maybe he can talk to Ventus when he's settled again.]

He seems like that kind of person, in any incarnation. [He shakes his head.] In that case, he might have been lying about this plan, but... He seemed far too serious about turning Sora into one of those Darknesses.

...Apparently, our being there and all of the Organization's presence, was planned. Like they knew the Organization would fail a year ago.

[It's definitely something to work toward, but even if they combined their knowledge, she suspects they'll still be light years behind. The only person she can imagine having anything close to the right amount of knowledge is perhaps Yen Sid, but who knows if even he could help. ~~The worlds always end up in the hands of teenagers, it seems.~~]

Yes.... He's deceived many people. But-- something has to be the truth. Maybe you really did find it.

--.... [All of this information... she can't help feeling shaken even in the core of her being. The Organization was - is - such a significant figure in her life. To think of them being used so easily--] ... And he sent them all to their deaths.
