[ Allison's sitting in her room in Freya house (the pink is ridiculous) where she's been since she got here, except to eat and everything, as she tried to absorb as much information as possible. That got to be a little overwhelming, though, especially while she was going through some of the network posts, so now she's here. ]

I was trying to find more information about the powers that we get when we're pulled here. [ It feels weird to say that; she's still trying to convince herself it's not some coma-induced dream. ] There's a lot of stuff to filter through, though, so if someone could just give me a basic rundown of them, I'd really appreciate it.

I can tell you my power if it makes a difference, but just a general explanation of them would work, too.

I've an idiot running about the place somewhere that would likely be able to help you more than me, [ begrudgingly, bc admitting anyone is better than him at anything sucks balls but the idiot part helps ] but he's useless on the best of days, so I'll have to hunt him down a bit first. I'd be glad to answer any questions you might have to the best of my ability in the meanwhile.

[ Her eyebrows furrow and there's the tiniest hint of an amused smile curling the corners of her lips. ] Would you mind telling me why you're calling him an idiot if he knows more than you do?

[ a scoff, and a dismissive wave of his hand. ]

I'm certain he knows a great deal about a whole assortment of useless things. Doesn't make him any less of an idiot.

I don't really think knowing about the powers counts as useless.

It's not entirely necessary either. I've got on just fine without it. The whole magic lark is far more his trade than mine.

[And here's the man--well, woman technically right now--himself, looking none too impressed.]

It's to make up for his lack of imagination and knowledge. Makes him feel important, too.

Does he do that sort of thing a lot? [ She's assuming this isn't Merlin because, well. Merlin's not a girl. Not in the legends she's heard, anyways. ]

[Merlin gives her a grin of his own.]

Calling me an idiot? He's been doing that since we met, actually. I'm beginning to think it's his odd way of showing affection because he's afraid of talking about his Feelings most times.

[Not exactly true anymore, but it's said for the benefit of other ears. He knows you're listening to this, Arthur.]

I am compiling a list of information on them, but it is not yet finished. Did you have any specific questions?

I'd just like to know as much as I possibly can, honestly. How they work, how whatever it was that brought us here was able to give them to us. If there's any trick to controlling them or if we have to learn how by trial and error.

It's unclear how they work, other than through magic and force of will. The gods granted the powers in place of those from our worlds', and gave them to those who had none to begin with. Each power is suited in some way to the god who controls the related house.

Practice is the most effective way of learning to control them. They're activated by will and intention, but for those unused to powers it takes some time to learn.

Does anyone do any kind of training? [ She'd like to get used to her power sooner rather than later. ] And is there any chance I could figure out the reason I was put in the house I'm in? The maid wasn't exactly helpful in that department when I got here.

Huh... You're in Freya? [JUDGING BY THE PINK...]

Well, if your power is Charm, I can tell you a little more about it specifically, since, well, that's mine too.

[gymnast]

...let me guess, the color gave it away? [ What else would, Allison? ]

It is, actually, and that'd be really great. The more I know about it, the better, so anything you can tell me would really be appreciated.

voice;

No kidding. [although pink IS her favorite color.]

Huh. Well... it's best to show you, although showing can--sometimes get a little awkward. Since you're in the house right now, do you wanna meet in the lobby or something...?

Do you mind explaining what awkward means, first, before I agree to anything? [ Just because the girl's offering answers doesn't mean Allison's just going to agree without hesitation, especially with that kind of warning. ]

[ so in the short time that he's been back, Jackson's been trying to catch up on the network in an attempt to see what he missed and how long he's really been out of it. It doesn't seem like anything important — at least not enough to interest him anyways — until he catches a very familiar face on a video post. ]

[ As he watches, it's hard to deny who it is he's seeing. It's Allison and she's here. In Asgard. Where he's been for the better part of a few weeks. The strangest part isn't even that he's seeing a familiar face from home. It's that with her appearing here, he can no longer pretend that it's some drawn out strange dream (a thought he'd mostly given up on, but still held onto in the very back of his mind as a last, desperate hope).

Her confusion is apparent and oddly familiar. Even when she asks about the powers — hadn't he done the exact same? Although, he's sure that her reasons are probably more noble than his own. He waits until the recording's finished before steeling himself for a reply. ]

[ It's easy enough to put a disinterested face, despite the fact that seeing someone he recognizes in Asgard stirs up a strange sense of nostalgia within him. He squashes it down as best as he can before taking a deep breath and speaking. ]

Allison? [ ok, so maybe there's a bit of emotion seeping through. it's been a weird couple of fuzzy days, okay? ]

[ Allison's gotten answers - not as much as she'd like, but answers nonetheless - by this point and has necessarily forgotten about this post, but she's definitely moved past it. She's been trying to get as much information about this place as she possibly can, hoping she'll be able to figure some things out without having to look like a helpless new person.

When she hears her name come from her bracelet, the voice doesn't register because she's too wrapped up in whatever it is she's working on. But then she glances up from her bed towards her end table, where the bracelet's sitting, and actually pales a little at the face on the projection.

There's no way-- ]

[ Abandoning whatever it was she was reading, Allison moves closer to the end table even though she can see his face pretty clearly. Out of all of the people Allison could be trapped with... ]

Jackson? What--? [ She's not really sure where to start on the questions, though, so she just sort of falls silent for a few moments. ] When did you get here?

[ When Scott wakes up and has no idea where he is, all he can think is: not again. At least not so soon since he woke up to Allison's mother trying to kill him. He immediately assumes that he's in another kidnap situation by one or both of Allison's parents. Even after he's been greeted by the maid and told all the details, a part of him still thinks this is all some elaborate plan by Mr. and Mrs. Argent to keep him away from their daughter. Not that he's spent any time with her since the rave (Lydia's birthday doesn't count since they spent the majority of it sulking and staring longingly at each other from across a swimming pool instead of talking). Now Scott's really regretting not apologizing to Allison at the party because what if he never sees her again?

And then, whilst he's looking through the network he finds the video Derek posted. Derek's here. If he's here then what if...

He continues to look through the network even though he might be wasting his time. Seeing Derek gives him a glimmer of hope that maybe they're not the only ones from Beacon Hills here. Whilst his abilities may be weak now, he can sense that Allison is nearby. If he comes across a video of her then it'll be proof that he's not just having wishful thoughts...

And there she is. Pretty as always and above all she looks unharmed which means that he doesn't need to hurt anyone for hurting her. Scott even recognizes the pink background because they're in the same house. ]

Allison! Can you see me?

[ The broadcast is old, which should be made clear (if it wasn't already) by the fact that Allison's now standing in the middle of one of the stacks in the Great Library when her bracelet comes on. She visibly jumps at the sound of Scott's voice, eyes darting around for a moment before she remembers her bracelet.

She lifts her arm slightly so it's at a better angle, brow furrowed slightly. ] Scott? [ Her stomach knots together but she can't figure out if it's the normal kind of knotting the sight of him causes or if it's more nerves.

But he's talking to her, so she can ignore the awkwardness between them, at least for a moment. ] What are you-- [ No, she knows the answer to what he's doing here. ] When did you get here?

[ Scott eyes where Allison is curiously. Is she in a library? (Well, what else would you call a place with that many books?) ]

Maybe an hour ago? [ He doesn't have a watch on him so it's just a rough guess of how much time has passed. ] Are you okay?

video;

[gymnast]

Yeah. Yeah, I'm okay, I'm just... [ Confused, really. She has no idea how she feels right now. Seeing him - having him here with her - is exciting and makes her incredibly happy (which she feels bad about) but she can't exactly forget what happened at the rave.

She smiles a little despite all of the various emotions raging through her. It's Scott, after all; she still loves him despite their fight. ] Are you okay? Where are you?
