[When the recording starts the bracelet's camera is focused on some kind of aquarium. It isn't completely filled with water and it has quite a few rocks and logs, some of which stick out above the water. On first glance the tank looks empty, but if one looks close they can see a little red claw crab sitting under a log inside.]

Does anyone know what kinds of things crabs do for fun? I'm keeping an eye on this guy for someone else, and I know I've got his food and home down but it looks kind of boring in there. Especially since he's all alone! Do they even make toys for crabs? He looks like he might break stuff with those claws....

Oh! And what kind of information do I need to give out to get a licence? I've never gotten one of these things before, so I'm not sure if I need to bring something or... what, really.

I'm not certain I've heard of crabs doing anything for fun. [ But he looks a little intrigued by the idea? ] Do you know what kind of crab it is?

Oh, I think he's um - the pet store said he was a red claw!

That's not a type I'm familiar with, I'm afraid. [ He looks genuinely apologetic, though it can hardly be said to be his fault, right? ]

Does he spend a lot of time hiding?

Do you know a lot about other kinds of crabs? [Kaz might like that....]

Yeah! I've seen him come out at night, though.

I know of some that live on the beaches in my home. [ He couldn't claim to be an expert, but that's something! ]

That seems fairly normal. I would suggest finding a companion for him, but without knowing more about what type he is... I'm sorry.

What kinds? Can they be pets too?

That's okay! I'm going to look into it - he could at least use another crab friend.

Certainly so. Some moreso than others, of course.

It might not be so bad, yes? Having a friend around?

I had no idea! I always thought they were only good for eating.

Yeah, he's got to get lonely in the tank by himself sometimes.

They are very good for that, yes....

It is a little big for him, all by himself, isn't it?

The guy who owns this crab doesn't agree.

When I bought the tank I thought he'd need a lot of space to run around in, but I think you're right.

Oh, then please, let's not talk of it any more. It might disturb him. [ Meaning the crab, not the owner, since he doesn't really know who that is, of course. ]

If it seems to become too small, I'm certain you could find another, yes?

[She chuckles.] Sure.

Maybe! I think it should be big enough for two crabs, though.

Certainly so. Of that size, yes? I am quite sure it would be adequate.

Mhmm. Any other advice? I've never had to take care of a crab before.

I know they molt, that's something to be aware of.

They molt? Like a bird?

It's a little different. More like a snake shedding its skin, yes?

Ah, I see! Do you know how often they do that?

I think it varies from crab to crab, perhaps. Maybe there would be books that would be helpful in the library?

[She chuckles.] A trip to the library is a necessity at this point.
