[When the recording starts the bracelet's camera is focused on some kind of aquarium. It isn't completely filled with water and it has quite a few rocks and logs, some of which stick out above the water. On first glance the tank looks empty, but if one looks close they can see a little red claw crab sitting under a log inside.]

Does anyone know what kinds of things crabs do for fun? I'm keeping an eye on this guy for someone else, and I know I've got his food and home down but it looks kind of boring in there. Especially since he's all alone! Do they even make toys for crabs? He looks like he might break stuff with those claws....

Oh! And what kind of information do I need to give out to get a licence? I've never gotten one of these things before, so I'm not sure if I need to bring something or... what, really.

I imagine that would be a relief. [ He'd think. ]

It was. The power is still shitty, but it's not completely useless anymore.

Maybe there will come a time when it proves to be more beneficial.

I hope. I just wish it was more good in a physical fight.

If you had a partner, it might be quite useful.

I did fight alongside someone when ice fairies attacked. I'm not sure we're partners though.

Temporary partners, perhaps? [ That seems valid enough to him? ]

He'd probably hiss even at that.

He isn't very good at getting along with people, that's all.

Some people are naturally very grumpy. I know several. [ He says cheerily. ]

Then you know how difficult he can be sometimes!

I don't mind it, though. Even if he's a grumpy jerk he's worth it.

Worth it in the sense that he's your partner? [ Oh, right. That was a one time thing, wasn't it? ]

In the sense that I enjoy hanging out with him. [Most of the time.]

I see. That doesn't sound so bad. [ Except the grumpy part and all that. ]

It isn't. What about the people you know?

My acquaintances, you mean? What about them specifically?

Even though they're grumpy you get along with them, right?

Oh, yes. Of course. [ He smiles, a little too brightly, maybe. ] We're very close, much of the time.

Are they here?

Certainly several of my kind are here, and at least one important ally. I couldn't say for sure how many in total.

Not so much, no.
