What attempts have been made, if any, to leave Asgard?

I shall be arriving at your facilities at half past the hour.
Your giving me the tour is much appreciated.

Hospital tonight as planned.

[ The accounting job at the bank isn't really the sort of calculating that Mycroft is overjoyed with having. He's been a bit spoiled with considering bigger issues in his former life. But gaining a salary is actually of some importance now -don't think it doesn't piss him off- on top of every other worry, especially since he has more than himself to look after (though that's not new). And he needs work; in his own way, he craves it just as desperately as his brother does. This job is just coppers before a king in every manner, but it is something. Unlike his brother, Mycroft is able to settle for less than what he wants for the sake of practicality. But at least Sherlock does have a little project going for him, so that's one thing off the list of complications.
So long as Mycroft makes sure the way is open to him. And he will.
When his shift is over at the Bank of Dvalin, Mycroft collects his bracelet from the office (no chance of distraction or possible conveyance of account information, nevermind Mycroft's memory for numbers is more astounding than his employers might have figured) and makes his way into Heimdall's district. There, he'll proceed upon a leisurely stroll through Freya, and then into Sigyn district, sending out and answering the various texts and replies as he goes. ]

I'll be there at 11:30. Will need to be let in.
Nothing to examine tonight, but I want a look at the facilities.
S
[He could always examine his own blood, but that would require a tourniquet and syringe in his hand, a needle in his arm. He has too many associations and too little to do for that to sound like a remotely good idea.
He'll worry about coaxing the Victorian Watson to draw blood samples for "M" from willing participants another day.]
[private] [just got it like that]
On my way to do the preliminary exam.
Status on JM?
M
[ Surely you don't expect to stick Mycroft with any needles, Sherlock?
...No, of course you do. ]
[private]
...Yet.
Or, at least, he expects to make Watson stick Mycroft with a needle.]
Nothing since Caesar.
Keeping to dark corners like a good spider.

Not for very much longer.

he was so sure that it was Sherlock on the other line of his messages... but was it really just Mycroft? he's second guessing himself now that the other isn't anonymous, and honestly?
it's disappointing -- painfully so. he was so sure, and yet his "deductions" were off by a brother.
he still wants to be right. he wants Sherlock to be here. having friends in Asgard was helping in his absence, but it was no substitute for his best friend. ]

[ fine then. he'll have to deal with Holmes the older. ]
gonna put this on hold until their log is done!
One day, perhaps, John. For now, yes, it's just him. ]
I'll see you at the door, then.

[This is not how Watson imagined meeting Holmes' brother.]
By the mention of the facilities and your conversation with John, I imagine that your message was intended for him alone?
[ Switched to Voice; Private ]
Actually, I'm given to understand that you've a surgery of your own, and that you have tendered your services to my name.
[ You remember that conversation you had with M, Watson? Just because you dealt with the other brother doesn't mean you weren't consenting to letting both of them have a look at you. He's just as curious as Sherlock in his own way. ]

Apart from that, there doesn't seem to have been any other attempts to leave just yet -- this is assuming that any who manage to leave on their own accord would not just be brought back once again by the resident gods.

What lies beyond the gates?
Aside from what I've heard
about the 'camping trip'.

As of the moment, it seems so. However, I was wondering
if anyone had been testing this instead of meekly
accepting it.

I was rather hoping 'seem' and 'reality' were two different spheres.
