[brokennotmad]

[A young woman with dark semi disheveled hair, and large panicked eyes is shown when the video starts. She ventured out of the Welcome Hall, and well she's managed to get herself lost. She looks at her screen, her eyebrows drawing together. Her breathing is becoming erratic and it truly looks as if the fragile string in which tethers her to reality might at any moment snap.

When she begins to speak her voice is little more than a harsh whisper.]

No. Can't be right. No such thing as Gods. Just a way to break me, confuse me. [She lifts her hand up and though it's shaking, she runs it through her hair, further messing it up.]

Another Game. Has to be. Need to find water. Then shelter and Finnick. [Her gaze darts nervously around as she tries to keep to the shadows, can't be too careful.]

How did it just... go away? [She's not understanding this at all.]

It dried up? That's usually what happens.

[brokennotmad]

[Annie's eyebrow lifts.] A lake dried up? [Though it makes sense to her, really, since the Game Masters make it go away?

Not a lake, rain. [ A flood, really, but let's start small ]

[brokennotmad]

Well of course that's going to go away. [Everyone knows that.]

Except it went too fast. There was a lot of water.

[brokennotmad]

[Annie's eyebrows raise a little. Not really surprising. The Game Masters can do things like that.] And all the water's gone? None left?

[formercheerio]

There's probably the lake still [ if there even was one ] and it's still in the taps. But nothing that wasn't already there.

[brokennotmad]

That doesn't sound so strange.

[formercheerio]

Yeah, as far as this place goes lakes are alright.

[brokennotmad]

As far as this place goes? What does that mean?

[formercheerio]

It means that you shouldn't trust what you see here.

[brokennotmad]

Why? [She doesn't understand at all.]

[formercheerio]

Because things can happen that you might not believe. And don't ask me how, or why.

[brokennotmad]

That doesn't make any sense.

[formercheerio]

I know. I think if you know that and don't try to make it make sense... it's less of a headache.

[brokennotmad]

[She sighs and shakes her head.] Maybe... Maybe you're right. [Her head is really beginning to hurt.]

[formercheerio]

I hope so. I don't want to have to come up with anything else.

[brokennotmad]

[Annie just wants it all to not be so confusing.] H-how long have you been here?

[formercheerio]

[ Quinn wouldn't mind that either ] About a month? It can feel longer.

[brokennotmad]

A month? A day already seems like a long time.

[formercheerio]

Yeah, somehow it just passes. Finding something to do helps.

[brokennotmad]

Like what? [Really she has no idea what there could be to do here.]

[formercheerio]

Do you have any hobbies? Or things you like doing?

[brokennotmad]

[Hobbies... Who had time for those? And back home she hadn't exactly been in the right mind frame to do much.] Oh... I like to watch the ocean. I like to... Weave baskets. [Oh man. She needs a hobby.]
