[A young woman with dark semi disheveled hair, and large panicked eyes is shown when the video starts. She ventured out of the Welcome Hall, and well she's managed to get herself lost. She looks at her screen, her eyebrows drawing together. Her breathing is becoming erratic and it truly looks as if the fragile string in which tethers her to reality might at any moment snap.

When she begins to speak her voice is little more than a harsh whisper.]

No. Can't be right. No such thing as Gods. Just a way to break me, confuse me. [She lifts her hand up and though it's shaking, she runs it through her hair, further messing it up.]

Another Game. Has to be. Need to find water. Then shelter and Finnick. [Her gaze darts nervously around as she tries to keep to the shadows, can't be too careful.]

[Finnick doesn't spend much time on the network, but he did like to browse from time to time. He had been browsing when he came upon this. His eyes widened and he would have dropped his device.

But, there she is. It's Annie...She's here. It doesn't even occur to him to pinch himself to see if he's dreaming. She called his name. His name!]

Annie? Annie!

[His voice is soft, but urgent in order to get her attention. He doesn't want to frighten her, but his own heart feels as if it just leaped into his throat. She's here! She's safe!]

[Annie's eyes immediately light up hearing his voice. She quickly turns her attention to the screen and a bright smile begins to form on her lips.

She knew he'd be there. If she was in a game, he was sure to be there too.]

Finnick!

[Her forehead creases for a moment.]

I'm lost.

[She's not lost. Nope, she won't be lost for long in any account. He doesn't bother to even put on shoes. He's already out the door.]

You're not lost. You're safe. We both are.

[He would find her. If it took all day he'd find her.]

I'm coming to find you.

[ It doesn't take Peeta long to figure out who the girl is, mention of Finnick or not. He'd catch a glimpse of her in the Capitol once in a while, when he was there before being rescued to Asgard. At least it felt like a rescue. And, of course, there had been seeing her on television some years ago. He remembers the Games being played on a television in the bakery, like any other year. He remembers the way he felt when he saw the way the Games had changed her, made her into someone he's relatively sure she never was.

Just one of the many reasons why he refused to let them change him too ]

Your name's Annie, right? You're a past Victor. This isn't a Game, not this time. There are no Games here. [ Not yet ] It's not like home.

[She knows him. Peeta. He'd made her wedding cake.

But she doesn't understand why he's asking about her name. He should know it. They'd spoken not long before she'd arrived there. Her eyebrows furrow a little and she shakes her head. Confusion evident.]

You made my wedding cake.

[Yeah that's about all he's getting for now since she truly doesn't want to talk about Games or anything since she's kind of convinced they're all stuck in one.]

[ Now it's Peeta turn to be confused. He doesn't remember ever having made a wedding cake before. No one in 12 would ever be able to afford such a thing, and they don't really cater to the other Districts. She's from District 4 if he remembers correctly. He spent so little time in 4 on the Victory tour and none of that time was spent baking anything ]

I'm sorry, but you might have me confused with someone else. I've never made any wedding cakes before, I don't think.

[Feferi frowns at the woman on the screen.] You look kind of green around the gills. Are you new?

[Perhaps had she never been to the Capitol and not seen the way they changed their appearance for the sake of fashion, she might have been a tad put off by the woman's appearance.

Though her eyebrows do knit together and she sighs. Even though she's been talking to Fin, she can't help but think the Capitol is still behind everything. That or maybe she truly is mad.]

Yes. [Her lips press together.] This is.... not right. Shouldn't be here.

None of us should be here. At least, not anyone who uses one of the bracelets! But you're stuck here with the rest of us, now, so you'll have to get used to it.

[For all the situation sounds an unpleasant one, Feferi smiles cheerily.]

There's plenty of water, though!

[Annie just stares. She's been walking a while and she hadn't seen any.]

Was it hidden?

No, it went away.

You are a friend of Finnick's? Hello! I'm Claire.

There is enough water around here, and shelter for all. [Pause, and, at a guess.] And enough food for everybody.

[Annie's head ducks for a moment and a slow smile begins to form. She doesn't normally talk all that much to those she doesn't know, but Claire had mentioned Finnick.]

More than a friend. His wife.

[She lifts her gaze and her eyebrows slowly draw together.]

Where is here? Finnick said he'd explain, but so confused by everything.

Really?

[But it's not a disbelieving question, not at all. Rather, Claire beams a radiant smile.]

That is wonderful, and congratulations, and I'm happy for you both!

And this place is really confusing to just about everybody, it will probably be best if he explains it, because he knows where you come from. But if you still have questions, I can try to answer them later?

[Quietly, and still with a smile.] But to me, here is a place where I can be with both my parents, and for that, I don't mind the strangeness at all.

Are you new? I'm afraid there really are gods, but... some of them are very nice! And there's water and shelter and everything, too.

[The more that people are talking to her, the more unsettled she's beginning to look. None of anything anyone is telling her makes sense or makes her feel better.

Her head shakes as her hands begin toying with her hair.]

No, Gods are just stories. [Her voice drops to a whisper and though she can be heard, it's pretty obvious she's talking to herself.] Not real, Annie. Just something the Capitol is putting you through.

[Oh. She... she looks kind of unhappy...]

[Ah, a nervous wreck. Maybe this could a pleasant person to converse with.]

[Why are all these strangers talking to her? *sob* She shakes her head though as though the girl could see her.]

Finnick's coming. Going to take me home.

Fi-- Finnick? I... I see! Is he a friend of yours?

[She seems to have the right idea, at least.]

You'll find food and water in your room.

[Now that just has her shaking her head. She's not going to where ever the girl had told her she needs to go. No way.]

No, Finnick's finding me and taking me home.

... Has Finnick found you yet? You're -- Annie Cresta, right? [ the Mad Victor, they call her. ]

He's c- [But she breaks off whatever she going to say. Why is Katniss saying that? She KNOWS who she is.

She's beginning to hate this place very much.
