3nd revision; anonymous text

Where I come from, most cultures have their own takes on the otherwordly, the supernatural. As shown in this entry, many of you are familiar with the lore of your world and even have had your own encounters with them.

Let me ask you this, to supplement the previous question: What creatures or supernatural beings of your world are generally portrayed in a negative light? Of those, do any have a particular fascination with blood?

Discuss as you will.

[That's Colonel Moran to you, pal.]

I've been brought here by the high and mighty bastards in the sky. Do you think my perspective has changed?

[Lol because he's drawn to bloodshed too] Couple of reasons. I've spent a good portion of my life hunting big game in the East. I know animals. Not only that, before I was brought here, I had a job to take down some sort of enormous, murderous ghost hound with a habit of ripping out throats. Nothing spectral about it. It was wolves. A pack of 'em, probably trained since they were pups.

[Pfft. PFFT. Yeah right.]

How possible? [That gets a chuckle.] Deduce it for yourself, chum. We domesticate dogs, don't we? Train 'em to sit and stay and heel. Take it a step further and voila. You've turned Fido into a murderous, bloodthirsty beast.
