Either you all like singing in public or the gods have an excellent sense of humor.

[If it isn't Jacob, looking ever so amused at all the things he had heard on the network. Really, some of you even have wonderful voices, he's impressed.]

But either way, all of what I've seen has made me curious. Music certainly has a giant influence on most of our lives...but what does it mean to you? Is it something you listen to casually, or has anything spoken to you? Some songs can do everything from making people burst out in tears or dwell on things they thought were over and gone with.

What role does it play in your life, residents of Asgard?

It is my profession. One I love very much. To think a sound can bring out the different emotions that music does is amazing. [ though, she wasn't one of the event's singers. ]

Are you a musician or singer, then?

It really is amazing. I can only imagine how beautiful it is for people who deal with it regularly in their lives.

A singer. I played guitar as well, but my partners play much more beautifully.

And what is music to you?

Oh, then this curse must have been quite the familiar experience to you.

[He muses on that for a few seconds.]

It's something quite indescribable, I believe. Like it is its own language that speaks to our emotions rather than our minds.

It is really something precious, listening to music.

And yet also a pleasant surprise, to be met with a chorus.

[ hmmm... ] Yes, it goes beyond logic when a guitar or piano can have its own 'voice'. Even without words, music speaks to us. And each person hears something different.

Oh? People even joined in with your singing? How nice.

That is certainly true. It's like a painting, really. Everyone recognizes the talent in it, but the message that each person gets from it is quite different.
