[And here we have Gamzee, doing what he is told and staying put, just like he has been all day. He curls himself up on the bed, hugging his knees to the chest and setting his keyboard to the side for the moment, waiting.]

[And then he hears a knock on the door...but he doesn't trust himself to answer it. There are tons of other people around...he knows it. He's been talking to them, just like he was talking to Karkat a few minutes ago...

[And if it isn't Karkat...he doesn't know what he'll do. So he'll just keep waiting...]
