Hey. I’m not into public introductions, it feels like AA or something. Name’s Rudolf Ushiromiya, just got a few questions here for the rest of you.

Anyone know how exactly they decide where you go? It’s like a horoscope, right? Personalities and all that. So what’s the formula, if you want specifics, it’d be Baldr. If you don’t like how they judged you, who do you talk to about getting a switch? I don’t like the idea of somebody just assuming who I am.

Oh yeah, and what kind of jobs are up for grabs, or businesses that might be needed. This suite doesn’t really suit my tastes. …And I guess I’m gonna have to buy cigarettes.

It's normal definitely. For kids their age knowing something that others don't separates them from other people. That's how they create individual personalities.

Right, right, anybody who has to put up with Rosa'd need magic for a fun day for sure. I hear she got bullied too, showing the other kids you're good at something different might be a good way to fix that, right? It's too bad, she's a cute kid. Smart, too.

It was an unwritten rule to not discuss Rosa's relationship with her husband at the conferences.

That kind of thing caused uneasiness amongst the family members and Rosa would get emotional.

In Christianity there was a story about a holy trinity. The son the father and Mary the mother.

Maria's name is based off Christianity, isn't it? She figured her father was the holy one in heaven.

I wouldn't know about stuff like that. But is that to do with her magic and all?

It's related to her power as witch of origins.

She can create a universe with her magic.

Not necessarily. Usually you have to spend money to make money, but I'm out to prove it's not always true!

How do you plan on achieving that scheme of yours?

Gambling's usually a good bet for that. Not doing any gambling yourself, that is. Getting other people to go for it. And skimming a little off the top for your trouble.

In other words you're too lazy to work for real money.

I'm not lazy! But I've been the boss for so long, I can't just go down to working in a shop or some shit.

Then start your own business.

That's what I'm gonna do! But I need startup money first.

Hey, the work itself is easy, but it still takes plenty of planning, okay?! Especially if there's law types around at all.

You might find one or two lawyers but they aren't obligated to do their job properly here.

Don't worry about it.

Good, then my job just got easier. But you still have to get the word out there and all, you know? Besides, what's it matter how difficult it is, as long as you're making money, right?

You'll need a job at least.

That seems to be a requirement if you want to get a better place to live here.

It's ironic how they keep things we're familiar with yet they decide to throw us away from what we're used to.

So it's not good enough to just be making money somehow, it has to be from a legitimate business?

As long as you have money.

That should be what matters.

It is, right? There's tonnes of ways to get money, working for a real business is only one of them!

Money should be the least of your concerns here.

Though I should expect this from you as an Ushiromiya with a background in this sort of thing.
