[Locked to Trucy]
Trucy? ...There is something I would like to give you. A present. I think it will prove useful to you, both in Asgard and at home. And...there is something I wish to tell you along with it.
...It concerns Apollo as well, so I will be inviting him too.
[Locked to Apollo]
Apollo, are you free today? I understand you have a number of projects, but there is something I must tell you and Trucy. And I would not feel right doing it any way except face to face with both of you.
[Action - Freyr common area]
[ Lamiroir is trying to take her nerves off this meeting... it's interesting how easily stage fright can be compartmentalized, but the thought of how these two might react to what she has to say has her tensed up. She distracts herself noting the composition for a song, but considering the subject matter--a reunion--perhaps it's not a complete distraction. ]

Now with your light back in my eyes
I send my voice out to reach you...
video;
He doesn't hesitate before replying.]
Oh, sure. I am. I'm not doing anything that can't wait.
[He smiles.]
Where should we meet up?
video;
Freyr's house is a bit far for both you and Trucy... [ l o l godhouse on the outer edge ] I'll ask her if we can use Loki's house.
[ Which is far for her, but she doesn't mind that nearly as much as she does making her daughter cross this crazy city. @_@ (And okay, it's still a bit far for Apollo, but HE'S OLDER.) ]
video;
Oh, I don't mind. But Loki House is fine, too.
Is everything okay?
video;
[ Pause, and sounding a little more relaxed, even amused, even if it's at herself having been silly: ] And Trucy pointed out that Odin is more convenient for all of us.
video;
Sure, you can come here! I'm at the Welcome Hall now. We can meet here, or at the library or a café or something like that.
video;
The Welcome Hall will work fine.
video;
I'm sure she'll appreciate it, Lamiroir. [Whatever it is, although he can't quite understand why she'd have something for Trucy either. For all his perceiving, he is completely clueless.]
I'll be here, then! Since I'm here already. [Obviously.]
video > action; would Trucy like to step in next?
[ Action ]
[ The walk seems much longer than it normally is, given that she keeps fiddling with her bracelet. Not the slender silver with Freyr's dark indigo, but the thick, carved bracelet that had been passed along the Gramarye line. But Trucy seemed uncomfortable about the gift, and Apollo had no idea why he had it, and...
It would be all right. It had to be. Her family had been brought back together, not just thanks to Phoenix's work but a chance meeting that had surely been more than chance...it had been its own kind of magic.
When she reached the god house, she paused just outside the front door, taking a breath to settle herself, and entered with a calm expression. She looked for both Apollo and Trucy, on the off-chance her daughter had been quicker to arrive. ]
action; x.x I will timely one of these days
Hi Lamiroir, Polly!
action; don't worry about it! :3
Hi, it's good to see you. [He came up to greet her politely, then turned to Trucy with a smile as she came in soon after.] Hi, Trucy. Hi, both of you.
[He was the host here, so he would try to be a good one.] Would you like something to drink?
action;
Ah... [ She hadn't expected that, even though really, it was only proper. ] Some water, please. [ She's not thirty at all, but maybe she'll need it, to keep her throat clear. ]
action;
But it wasn't only that. There was just something so familiar about her seeing her in person, without the blue cloak and mask. Something that ust felt... too familiar, even if she couldn't put her finger on what.]
I'm okay, thanks though!
Re: action;
[Apollo looked from Lamiroir to Trucy, wondering what she could have to tell both of them. It was odd. Of course, they knew her and liked her, but they didn't know her that well.
He was actually a little nervous, but he told himself to stop being silly. There wasn't any need for that. Everything was fine! Still, he was glad of a delay, even such a slight one.]
No problem! It'll just take a second. I'll be right back.
[(And he'll be back by the time of his next tag.)]
action;
action;
[And it's too damn familiar for comfort.]
action;
Okay... so! Well, I'm ready if you are. We can--sit down in the lounge over here and talk?
[Fortunately, there doesn't seem to be anyone around right now. Some of his housemates are... weird.]
action; 1/2 I am sorry for this dorkiness
[ And Apollo's back! She takes the glass, returning his smile. Hopefully he's smiling at the end of this, too... ]
Yes, that's fine. Trucy, I'll give you your gift first.
[ And indeed, when they get over to the lounge, she sets her glass down and reaches with her other hand to take it off.
...Try to take it off. The bracelets are a perfect fit when the wearer is relaxed, and contract to tension in the muscles. Guess what nervousness does? ]
action; 2/2 but only a little
There we go. ]
...It's not usually so difficult. Here you are, Trucy. [ She holds out the bracelet on her open palm, easy for them both to see--thick, carved, gleaming, and exactly identical to the one Apollo wears. ] Do you know how these bracelets work?
action; 1/3 it's okay I'm about to spam this one out too
But she started to focus again once Lamiroir began to talk, her eyes drawn down to Lamiroir's wrist as she struggles to get something off.
...Wait.
Wait.
Wait. Wait. Wait.]
action; 2/3
She quickly glances over at Polly's wrist--he still has his.
Then how did Lamiroir have it? Trucy hadn't noticed her wearing one during the case, but then again under that long cloak it was hard to see her hands.
What was going on?!]
action; 3/3 okay I'm done.
He sometimes mentions his bracelet acting up when he sees perceives a habit, but... [She turns to Apollo, still totally faking this. Polly, you totally know what's going on, right? Right??] Is there something special about your bracelet, Apollo?
action; 1/3, all the spamming!
--and then hands it to Trucy.
What?
He doesn't know what to say while Trucy's talking, because he's not sure what to make of any of it.
...
And then Trucy turns toward him while he's still just STARING, looking utterly startled. He's not as good as hiding his reactions as Trucy is.]
2/3
Who, me? [Yes, of course, you. Good one, Apollo.] Well, I--
--I didn't know either. That we had the same bracelet.
[If she'd been wearing it before, it must have been covered up by her robes. But how is that possible? He's never seen another bracelet like his before...
So what does that mean? Not to mention the fact that she's giving it to Trucy, and wanted to speak to both of them. There are ideas in his head, but it's all so confusing and startling.]
3/3
It is special. It does act up, like you said, when someone's habit acts up, but that's not the only thing.
[He pauses, his surprised expression turning serious.]
It was also given to me by my real mother. It's the only thing I have from my birth parents.
ahaha kids get brainbreak for free!
[ She pauses, and sits down, giving them some time to follow suit if they wish before she continues. ] It used to be that I wore both as a set. Then, I had a beautiful, strong son... [ and she smiles for a moment despite her worry, but as genuine and bright as it is, it slips away as she admits: ] but I myself was not strong enough to keep him.
Damn it, Lamiroir!
Why must you do this to your children?
