Trucy? ...There is something I would like to give you. A present. I think it will prove useful to you, both in Asgard and at home. And...there is something I wish to tell you along with it.

...It concerns Apollo as well, so I will be inviting him too.

Apollo, are you free today? I understand you have a number of projects, but there is something I must tell you and Trucy. And I would not feel right doing it any way except face to face with both of you.

[ Lamiroir is trying to take her nerves off this meeting... it's interesting how easily stage fright can be compartmentalized, but the thought of how these two might react to what she has to say has her tensed up. She distracts herself noting the composition for a song, but considering the subject matter--a reunion--perhaps it's not a complete distraction. ]

Now with your light back in my eyes
I send my voice out to reach you...

[This whole thing was a lot to take in. This was, by far, the biggest thing she's had to deal with in her life, and she had to deal with a lot of abandonment. It's almost at the point where abandonment, she can deal with. Not well, but at least she knows what that's supposed to feel like. Now... now, she has her mother back in her life (after finally coming to terms with her death), and she learned that someone she had come to consider her best friend was, in fact, her half-brother. She could fake it like the best of them, but it's... it's a lot.

And of course daddy isn't here to help her through it all. He was the only one she trusted enough to let her guard down for, and though she was happily calling Lamiroir "mom," she wasn't quite ready to bare her soul to her or Apollo just yet.

So the mask had to stay on, just a little longer, until she could get back to her room and think it all through.

We should do something together to get to know each other better sometime. I heard there was an amusement park around here or... we could go find a magic shop to browse or...

All right, Lamiroir. [He can't go where Trucy did, it's just too weird and too soon, but he does smile, nonetheless. Although now calling her "Lamiroir" suddenly feels strange too, he notices. Well, he'll figure something out. So he's going to smile for now.] I'd like that. A lot.

[He's used to dealing with things on his own, though. He's had to deal with worse. He can do this, he's sure of it. He's no good at hiding his feelings, but the truth's what matters most, and it's better to know it, right? Right! It's always better, no matter what. Now he knows, so he's glad. He'll focus on that, for now.

He turns to Trucy when she speaks again. For a moment, his expression's thoughtful, perceptive, and he thinks that maybe something's not quite right... but then the smile returns.]

Or we could go to the regular park. [He's not completely sure about that amusement park.] Or the library. Or out for dinner somewhere. [He turns back to Lamiroir.] But there are a lot of places we could go. I'm fine with anything that you want to do.

[ It's very easy to get caught up in the happiness of her children accepting her, but Lamiroir remembers how shocked they were just moments ago. It's not likely that's simply gone away and even if she wants to know more about them, she already knows: they're both selfless. And that makes it all too easy to be thoughtlessly selfish, something she shies away from. She doesn't want to ask too much, even if they'd freely give it. ]

It doesn't have to be right now. I don't want to rush you... perhaps in a week or so?

[Trucy nods. She hadn't meant right away, but understands how it could have been misconstrued.]

Sounds to me like a plan. I'm sure Polly can find us a nice place in a week, right, Polly? [Like father, like daughter.]
