WHILE I AM FLATTERED TO HAVE BEEN RECRUITED FOR WHAT SEEMS A MOST NOBLE CAUSE, I MUST INSIST THAT I BE RELEASED IMMEDIATELY AND ALLOWED TO RETURN TO THE BUSINESS I HAD BEEN CONDUCTING PREVIOUSLY. I HAD BEEN SEARCHING FOR MY SON JOHN, AS I SAID BEFORE. THAT WAS THE CAUSE THAT I FOUGHT FOR, AND THE CAUSE FOR WHICH I WILL KEEP FIGHTING.

MY SON'S NAME IS JOHN EGBERT. HE IS THIRTEEN YEARS OLD, WITH DARK HAIR AND BLUE EYES. HOPEFULLY HE STILL HAS HIS GLASSES. THEY'RE RATHER SQUARE IN SHAPE.

[Those would be John's main physical traits, anyway...It's hard, just thinking about his son in such detail...He'd done so well to steel himself so far, focusing only on the mission at hand, not allowing himself to stop for a moment to lament their separation...
[And now, just describing him, just those small things that make John his son...it's almost too much to bear.]
