The 1st Pipe [Text] When in doubt, leave a note.

GODS OF ASGARD.

WHILE I AM FLATTERED TO HAVE BEEN RECRUITED FOR WHAT SEEMS A MOST NOBLE CAUSE, I MUST INSIST THAT I BE RELEASED IMMEDIATELY AND ALLOWED TO RETURN TO THE BUSINESS I HAD BEEN CONDUCTING PREVIOUSLY. PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT IT IS OF THE UTMOST IMPORTANCE MY ENERGY BE FOCUSED ON MY OWN AFFAIRS AT THIS TIME. IF ALLOWED TO LEAVE PEACEFULLY, I WILL GLADLY CONSIDER RETURNING TO OFFER MY ASSISTANCE AT A LATER DATE. HOWEVER, FORCE WILL BE USED IF NECESSARY.

PLEASE MAKE HASTE WITH YOUR RESPONSE(S). IT IS URGENT.

[Added later, after this conversation:]

'NOTE: GODS OF ASGARD.

'IN CASE YOU WERE WONDERING WHAT IT WAS I WAS HOPING TO ACCOMPLISH BEFORE BEING BROUGHT HERE, I WOULD LIKE TO INFORM YOU THAT I WAS IN THE MIDST OF SEARCHING FOR MY SON, JOHN EGBERT. THOUGH I DO PLAN TO SEARCH YOUR CITY THOROUGHLY FOR HIM BEFORE DEPARTING, IN THE EVENT THAT I AM NOT SUCCESSFUL I SHOULD LIKE TO BE RETURNED TO THE PLACE FROM WHICH YOU BROUGHT ME IN ORDER TO CONTINUE MY SEARCH FOR HIM.'

Simply "Rose" would be an adequate term of address.
As of yet, unless your plight appeals to our hosts' sense of whimsy, you may be awaiting a response far longer than necessary.
Gods don't often deign to lower themselves to the likes of man.

While I can sympathize with the idea, I am uncertain as to how much

[Her fingers slip slightly when she looks up and takes note of the addition to his message.

John Egbert.

His son?

Oh no. This is just tragic.]

Mr. Egbert?

Nothing important.
Please, feel free to attempt to reason with gods, but they are notably capricious beings.

However, it may not be so bad to make yourself at home here.
At least for a little while.

Your distress is understandable, but there is a certain degree of difficulty in leaving, as we are entrapped within the city walls.
aggrievance: (Like something's missing)

Your reaction is unsurprising.
Nevertheless, I wish you the best of luck, Mr. Egbert.
