[The video clicks on, showing Riku looking rather unimpressed and leaning against a stony wall. For anyone in the area can see him or that can recognize it, it's the bank he's leaning against in Heimdall's district. He's been out exploring a little bit here and there, mostly keeping to himself though.]

So it's been almost a week since people started arriving here. Doesn't seem like there were a lot of people before we came here, aside from the locals, and gods of course.

[He sounds a little skeptical and cynical at gods. Call him jaded, but Riku doesn't like being used as a tool for higher or better beings of power anymore.]

It might be too early to tell, but has anyone noticed a difference in the city yet?

[A pause and he looks almost contemplative and pained for a moment, but it quickly disappears.]

Since we seem to be on the topic of finding people, I'm looking for two. A boy named Sora and a girl, Kairi. If you know where they are, just tell them Riku's looking for them.

Probably. This place can't be that big, and so long as she stays out of trouble.

[ he grows silent, thinking of all the rest. ]

There are others, but I probably shouldn't get greedy.

[Now he feels a little guilty and selfish himself.]

I don't think it's greedy per se, especially if you're worried about them. I wouldn't want them to be stuck here, but I at least want to know that they're safe.

[ a nod. he was mostly just joking about it being greedy, though his delivery of jokes has always been... poor. ]

If they aren't here... that might be the best for them. But if they are... then at least you can look after them.

That's what I plan to do.

Exactly. Especially when they're prone to getting into trouble.

Well, if you're friends aren't around, they wouldn't know about it, would they?

[And that question makes him pause, and start sounding a little more serious.]

I'm not exactly the right person to ask that question. We help each other get out of trouble for the most part. But whether I'm good at doing it is probably up for debate.

[Considering most of the trouble Sora went through was caused by Riku's actions and all.]

[ he looks at riku a bit curiously at that, wondering what to make of his words.

but there is at least one simple enough explanation. ]

[It takes a minute for a small smirk to appear again, and he doesn't look as solemn as he did moments ago.]

Yeah, I am.

At least it keeps life interesting.
