[Hello people of Asgard. When the bracelet's feed jumps to life it's because Castiel struck it on accident in the midst of somewhat ungraceful flailing; the bracelet skitters back a little on the table it's sitting on, screen locked in place and giving a great view of an elaborate setup, only it's on fire and sending up a good amount of slightly reddish smoke.

There's a voice off screen speaking a language few would understand--that of the angels, Enochian--and sounding extremely displeased. Castiel comes into frame a moment later, tossing a blanket of some sort on the fire and successfully stifling it, managing to look vaguely affronted despite a coughing fit from the smoke. He spots the screen of the bracelet moments later and immediately turns it off.]

[So very, very proud. Because lying totally didn't get him into a huge mess, not at all~]

It appears very similar on the surface, however components are different and black magic tends to rely more heavily on spoken incantations than drawn or written ones.

... That sounds kind of like my world. [She does not sound pleased, because humans are absolutely not supposed to practice black magic in her world. That's Witch territory.]

In my world, witches are simply humans who have made deals with demons for power.

You mean demons actually get along with humans?? That sounds ridiculous!

Not usually, no. However, demons will deal with humans for the promise of a human's soul. The demon grants them a desire, and in ten years, the demon takes possession of the human's soul.

... Huh! They must be shitty excuses for black magic users if they have to go through all that just for the ability.

I presume it is different in your world.

There are some big differences. Although, demons exist in my world too, and Witches have a lot of contact with them. [No more details about that, so it could be anything from 'Witches and demons are fraaaans' to 'Witches enjoy sacrificing newborn babies to demons for fun.']
