003 [Video/Action]

[Hello people of Asgard. When the bracelet's feed jumps to life it's because Castiel struck it on accident in the midst of somewhat ungraceful flailing; the bracelet skitters back a little on the table it's sitting on, screen locked in place and giving a great view of an elaborate setup, only it's on fire and sending up a good amount of slightly reddish smoke.

There's a voice off screen speaking a language few would understand--that of the angels, Enochian--and sounding extremely displeased. Castiel comes into frame a moment later, tossing a blanket of some sort on the fire and successfully stifling it, managing to look vaguely affronted despite a coughing fit from the smoke. He spots the screen of the bracelet moments later and immediately turns it off.]

Well, I didn't get it quite immediately. And it's not as if people know how angels are supposed to act like. You look human, and people will mostly assume that what you look like is what you are. They know I'm not a human right of the bat because of these.

[He taps his clocks with a finger.]

So you're lucky in that regard. If you just don't tell the entire place, then you should be okay.

Have you had any issue come of telling those here what you are?

[The clocks are still weird, Cheriour, and indeed hard to miss. Castiel knows he doesn't really pass for human under scrutiny, but he does at least look indistinguishable from one himself.]

Not really. I've had a few who were surprised at what angels were really like, but I've had no threats against my life. Did find a few people to keep an eye out on, though. But overall, I'm not as concerned as you about making myself known. If there are other angels from the same world as you here, though, it would be a risk to put yourself out there.

[Hey, at least the clocks keep him sane. For the most part. Without them, who knows what he would be doing with the people here?]

There is only one other angel from my world here; my brother, Gabriel.

[He would have been more hesitant to reveal Gabriel's identity out of respect if he didn't already know Sam had shared it before.]

Who have you found worth watching?

Yes, Gabriel! I have been very curious to meet him, actually, after Sam told me. I just have been putting it off, well, because I still am trying to figure out what to say to him. [A pause.] He doesn't want to kill you, does he?

Oh, there's a half demon boy who seems to have quite the attitude, but he's a minor case. The one I am most concerned with is a young lady who seems to be a vampire- she has admitted to me that she has killed many and will continue killing here, even after I told her that I would not permit what she does here.

He is extremely... Human. [So no need to impress him, in other words. Gabriel's pretty easy going. He shakes his head slightly at the question.] No, he does not.

Has she harmed anyone that you know of so far?

Human? As in, not angelic? I don't quite understand. But that's good...that he doesn't want to kill you, I mean.

So far, no. But as I said, I'm keeping an eye on her to see if she continues what she says she does.

He has been among humans for a long time. He is informal and more similar in temperament to a human than an angel.

[Which is a good thing to Castiel, oddly enough. Castiel prefers human company to that of angels.]

Who is it?

Hmmm. Still, I'd rather see for myself. I like human beings, so being able to talk with him informally wouldn't be a problem.

[You have no idea who you're going to deal with Cheriour, don't think your perception of the archangel is going to be true.]

A young lady by the name of Diva. I have yet to ascertain her house yet, but it is only one of many questions about her I have yet to have answered.

Note that archangels of my world are the oldest, rather than the youngest. Gabriel is the youngest of them, however.

[And yeah, sorry Cheriour. Good luck there.]

I will observe her actions as well.

[He brushes at a bit of chalk on the table.]

Yes, I will keep that in mind. Wonder if him being the youngest, however, is the reason why he is so human...

[He sounds slightly surprised.] Oh, you will? Oh, um, thank you! I didn't ask for that, but um...thanks. If there is anything I can do for you in return...

He has more experience with humans. His age may be a factor in why he choose to gain such.

[He nods slightly, a little surprised by that response as well.]

There is little to be done here. Making certain those present don't cause harm to others is a worthwhile one.

Ah. Hmm. That might be so. I'll find out either way.

[And maybe kind of idolize him in the process WHAT HE IS AN ARCHANGEL OKAY ARCHANGELS ARE COOL]

Oh. Well, even though we don't come from the same world at all, an angel is an angel and...really, any angel that I meet here is like having a member of my brethren here with me. It means a lot to me.

[He's quiet again at that, the sentiment strange, though only a few years ago he would have understood it perfectly. So much had changed.]

It is interesting.

[Very few angels had been like family to him, and none were any longer. He isn't certain what he feels about this, but maybe it could be a good thing.]

Isn't it? I would have never expected to meet an angel like you, from a world like yours. But here we are.

[It was odd, knowing an angel who was completely different from him (including the fact that the body he was speaking out of was not his, if he remembers what Castiel said about his kind before). But Cheriour would take it in stride. He always does.]

[Underneath his wariness about the whole thing, Castiel's curious, also fascinated by meeting an angel from a world other than his own. It's why he's been asking so many questions.]

It find it interesting how vastly different we and our worlds are.

It really is. I think I remember reading somewhere that different decisions can lead to different outcomes, and therefore to different, I guess, alternate versions of the world that bear very little resemblance to one another after many years.

Perhaps the decisions of your God that differed from my God made it like how we are today. Or maybe it was something else. I'm not an expert on such things, really.

For my world, alternate timelines run parallel but nearby. It is possible the the worlds represented here could have all originated from one, but unlikely.

[Castiel is the nerd angel. He will nerd forever. ARE YOU READY, CHERIOUR?]

Really? Hmmm. Never thought of that. But it is odd, that so many people could be pulled from different places and not have any consequences because of it. It seems a little too...easy to do such a feat like that.

[THAT IS OKAY pendroz used to nerd to him all the time HE IS USED TO THIS BRO HE ENJOYS IT LIKE NOTHING ELSE.]

Changing timelines and altering memories isn't that difficult. If those here are brought here for this purpose, then returned to our worlds with no memory of this place at the point we were taken from, the world we're from would likely progress without issue.

[But it's an unpleasant thought all the same, because he wants things learned here to be of use to those still alive in his world, namely Sam and Dean.]

No memory? Then, we just forget what happened? Forget all the things we found out? That's not fair!

[He had already been exposed to so much, and to let that all go away in an instant was quite upsetting.]

Is there a way to remember? What we saw and heard here? At all?

So it seems. There is no confirmation, but Dean is from a time earlier than Sam and I, and he never spoke of visiting this place.

[He shakes his head slightly, though it's not a no as much as uncertainty.]

I don't know.

From an earlier time? Why, that's...not comforting. So, it doesn't take people from the same world at the same time...

[A pause.]

I hope not. But I guess there's nothing we can do about it, can we?
