[When the video cuts on, Finnick is sitting on his bed with his back against the wall. He's wearing a pair of pajama pants barely visible, but his torso is naked showing off his muscular figure. His head hits the wall behind him with a soft thud as he gives a small grin.]

So, I have been thinking about this a lot lately. Who is actually going to stand up and fight a war that isn't even theirs to fight?

Is it worth it to you all to save some place that you aren't even all that attached to?

[He smiles reaching down beside him, the sound of a paper bag rustling before he holds up his hand which has a single sugar cube between his pointer and thumb. He studies it before popping it into his mouth, and then licking his lips.]

I'm just curious. After all, I have to know who is going to stand beside me when the time comes, right?

[Finnick gives a smile and a small wave.]

I'm stuck here, and for right now I see plenty of targets that need killing and a few who need beating. The waiting list is growing, but I'm going to say that the first one that gets on the waiting list is the first bastard that tries to kill me. If my fighting back happens to help save the world, then lucky for the world. I'm not letting anyone or anything treat me like a doormat.

[He smiles and leans forward winking at the camera.]

After a while, you pretty much need to learn how to prioritize your targets, or you just end up in a whole heap of a lot of extra trouble. I'm betting you know your priorities too?

[No wink back, but her lip almost twitches at a smirk. Almost.]

Of course. That's the first thing everyone should think about when it comes to a situation. Also, planning ahead never hurts.

Planning ahead demands a goal. You have to know what you're dealing with first. Knowing target's a hell of a lot easier, but it's not like we don't have time to figure this out.

But before you can have a goal, you have to take a stance. I doubt that very many people have even done that.

Well, that's always been easy for me. I stopped having any other stances than 'get out of this alive and screw anyone in my way' a while ago. [That, actually, wasn't true despite her bluster. However, getting her to admit that took work under most circumstances.]

Well, that sounds like something that would keep you alive. So that's good!

Assuming I'm not the initiator of the apocalypse, yep. Never bank on the person you're talking to not being the mother of the antichrist. It's always the ones you don't expect.

[Was... she laughing at that?]

[He gives a grin to the small laugh.]

Hm. Okay, so that's wisdom to live by? I think I like that too. I'm Finnick by the way, what's your name?

Samantha Grey. Charmed, I'm sure. We'll see how long it takes me to piss you off. I've got a gift for that.

Yeah, well... if I ever start actually flirting with you, that's the side you don't want to meet. She's a psycho, and I can't control that half of me.
