[Sure is a regular day around here! I mean, it's colder than usual - part of why Hibiki's got a thick coat, scarf, and cap set today - but really, how odd could it be for it to get a bit chilly?

In fact, she was just on the way through her own district over to Odin's to see if she couldn't find some nice books when she first spotted the fairies. And given they're so beautiful...]

Wow! I have never seen anything like it! I wonder what it is...?

[Which, naturally, gets the attention of the fairy. As it begins to make its way towards her, Hibiki stops to admire it...

Only to give a small yelp when it promptly claws her.]

Wh-wha-?

[She is completely caught off guard, making the fairy's attack even easier. It latches onto the small girl's arm, its claws digging at her sleeve and nicking her hand in the process, leaving it chilled and numb. In a panic, Hibiki tries to pull away, accidentally slamming her bracelet into the ground as she falls.]

[Hibiki blinks in surprise as the screen comes up, but once it registers, she quickly begins her plea for aid even as her voice cracks with fear.]

S-someone, help! There's a monster or--or something. I don't-

[She is cut off with a terrified squeak as the fairy gets the jump on her.]

Where are you?

[John's rattled enough that he doesn't pause to adjust the video function to the more comfortable audio option. He's been standing in the garden of the Thor Welcome Hall, considering the unseasonal weather through the medium of a nice pipe of tabacco when Hibiki's plea popped up on his device.

He's moving almost before he's thinking about it, sizing up any clues to the girls location -- that colour's Sigyn, he knows that much -- but while John's determined and mobile despite his war wound, he's never going to win any races.]

[She squirms away from the fairy for a brief moment - just long enough to give a breathless reply.]

[And another shriek as the fairy's claw rips into her sleeve. The good news is, she is now free to run.

The bad news is, that fairy's pursuing her.]

[John's tone is brisk, authoritative. He knows that he's asking a lot with those few words, but if he sounds like he believes she can do this, then the girl just might.]

Now, stick to the main road. Run towards Thor.

[She tries to nod, forgetting that it might be a bit hard to tell with all the shaking the video is doing what with her running and all.]

Thor, Thor, Thor...

[She casts an anxious look behind her and, realizing the fairy is not far behind, puts on a burst of speed. However, she's still scared out of her wits, and it's leaving her confused - she keeps hesitating whenever she sees another road, trying to make sure she's going the right way, only to have to run all the faster when she notices the fairy is gaining on her.]

[Kiri's not sure if she's found shelter now, but he's already on the street and looking around frantically. He can't just sit by after watching some little kid getting mauled. It's moments like these that he wished he had Flare back or at least knew what his ability was so that he would be able to do more than just run if he found her.]

[EEP she flinches as it gets another swipe at her, tearing her sleeve. But that also means she's not caught on its claws anymore, so instead of finishing her reply she begins to run in a panic!]

[It's a good sign that she's still responding, but he's too new to the place to be clued in by the background as to where she is.]

[There's a bit of a struggle as she tries to get away from the fairy. It's hard though, since its clawing at her sleeve at the moment.]

[Hearing the plea for help from a child always tugged at Aerith's heart strings. It was difficult to not be reminded of the past in one way or the other. So without a shred of doubt, she decided to check on the younger girl.]

Are you okay? Can you hear me? [It was hard to tell due to the last thing heard was a scream. Hopefully nothing has happened.] If you can hear, can you please tell me where you are? I'll try to help you home. What house are you in?

[Please don't let it be a Heartless! She might not have seen any around the area, but it was hard to let her guard down about them never showing up.]

[It takes a bit of a struggle to get away from the fairy's claws, and even then it's still got a firm grasp on her arm. But it's enough for her to gasp out a reply.]

I-I can hear! I'm in Sigy-

[There's a sound of tearing as the fabric of her sleeve is totally shredded. In a panic, the small girl takes the opportunity to start running.]

[Watching the video closely, she could easily see something latched onto the other girl's arm, it was nowhere near a Heartless, but it was hard to tell if it was good or bad thing.]

What is that on your arm? Try to slap it off you!

[So the other girl was in the same house as she was because their god home was the one one that started with the letter "S".]

Where are you now? We're both part of the same district, I'll come look for you if no one has! [And just in case:] Try to run in zig zags instead of a striaght line, it'll help in getting them off your trial. Taking a different route in any corner will also help.

[And it's totally by accident that Minatsuki happens across this scene and bashes the stray wooden beam she found lying around right into the fairy's head, knocking quite a chunk out but not yet killing the creature. She also aims a heavy kick at its side, if only to shove it away from its victim.]

was almost as scary as the fairy itself.......

But the fairy is successfully pushed away, leaving Hibiki to fall to the ground in a daze.]

[That's how she rolls, man.

When the fairy is a safe distance from the girl, Minatsuki brings her weapon down hard and fast on its face, shattering it on impact. When she's sure it won't be getting up again, she turns to face the girl, casually resting her weapon on her shoulder.]

He doesn't even bother to think of the consequences, eyes scanning the creature quickly before he drops his bag on the ground, pulling out a tennis ball and his racket before he quickly slams the ball into the fairy's face, making it bounce back---]

[She is... not entirely sure what all of that was about but okay, this helps, now if she can just free her arm--

Nope. It's still got its claws in it. So instead, she'll hurriedly try to get out of her jacket, except for the part where she's in too much of a panic to be able to undo the zipper and oh god why is this happening.]

[For the love of all things, little girl. Well, while that fairy's momentarily stunned, Atobe's coming over to her, steps heavy as he reaches over to help undo the zipper himself. He's concerned about being so close to this creature he doesn't even know, but it was minor compared to the problem at hand now.]
