[To be completely honest, Rin doesn't want to do this. He doesn't want to come out and talk about what happened, but that stupid ass troll made a point. His friends won't know if he's okay if he doesn't say anything. Sheimi and Yukio are probably worried sick about him]

[ The days in the hospital seem to go by slowly - Shion is bored. There's not much for a seventeen year old girl to do while confined to a hospital room, so she had to... improvise. Reading numerous magazines, she had come across an item that seemed very fun. And not to mention, very cute. She had to wrangle most of her savings, but at last she had an army of the cute toys.

There were now eleven of these sitting at the end of her bed. Giggling, she spends most of the week teaching them words and scolding them when they burp and don't ask for a pardon. Soon, most of her new friends were chattering on about all the good things - boys, food, pretty clothes. Shion was satisfied!

But then she realised that this telekinetic power she had received from these gods - thanks, Lokibro - could be used to make these toys even funnier. And after practicing a great deal, she was becoming much better at it.

So that's why today, there are two things happening. The first is a video. ]

I ordered all of these cute things, but the batteries keep running out. I don't want to have to keep teaching them manners... But look! [ There is now a furby in front of her face, she's gleefully holding onto it. And making it wave at the screen. ]

WAAAAAHH!! ME SCARED!!

--Eh?! It's just a camera, Furbyko! You don't need to be scared!

H-hey, don't be so loud, alright? Where's the sound settings again...

[ Shion cuts the feed as the furby continues making horrible noises.

The second option is to be a part of her plan - with her growing power, Shion's set the furbys on the loose. In the hospital. From her room, she's mentally controlling the furbys to look like they're running up and down the hallways of the hospital, occasionally screaming WAAAAH YOU SCARY!!!! AAAAAAHHHH!! ME SCARED!!! BURP!! HAHA!! 'SCUSE ME!! and the like. If you stop to look at one of the creatures, it'll likely do something really ridiculous, like begin to tapdance. Shion won't be too far behind, but it's much funnier when people don't realise it's her doing it.

You're pretty much able to find a furby in any part of the hospital, or right outside of it, getting "fresh air". One might even "crawl" up onto your character's bed. Shion won't be too far behind, walking around in her hospital clothing. ]

Everyone---[Oh no. Not this public speaking thing again. Shu's nervous. He hopes he doesn't make a fool out of himself in front of all these people.] I'd like to know something.

I thought that maybe someone here might know the answer. Is it, normal to meet someone from your own world but....they don't have the same memories as you?

Inori remembers something different. She says I protected the school with Ayase, but it doesn't make sense. I don't think she's lying either, so. She wouldn't do something ...like that.

[At least he thinks so. Segai's words manage to bestow a sense of insecurity on him.

Beware of those who tell you to believe in yourself, Shu. Inori might very well wish to use you and removing anyone who might take away that control through this manipulation.

Is it really alright to believe in her and the Funeral Parlor? He doubts them for a minute.]

[The bracelet clicks on to the sound of pages turning. Someone is looking through about a million different books in the library at the current moment. It's really all the Odin folks do, isn't it? Read.]

I am not sure if this has been asked before, and if it has I apologize for the repeat. Is there any way to get rid of the ability given to us by the gods? I know someone could simply choose not to use their power if they disliked it, but it would be more convenient if it wasn't there to begin with.

[ The network has a lot of people on it, almost too many— and despite having coaxed herself out of her shell slightly, Shiemi couldn't help being intimidated by talking to that many people at once! It's taken her a few minutes to get up the nerve to actually try posting, but once she does, all of that determination she's built up sort of ends up...

[ Though her face is as red as a tomato, she manages to breathe and smile abnormally widely before continuing, seeming to gain confidence with every passing moment. ] My name is Shiemi Moriyama! I've only been here for a few hours, but it's nice to meet all of you! I-I've never used anything like this before, but I wanted to give it a try! I hope I'm doing it right...

[ She doesn't look so sure of this, but it doesn't seem to deter her, either. ] I was told it was a good way to get in contact with people, and that seemed like a good idea, I thought. I'm looking for some friends of mine. If anyone from True Cross Academy is here, I think... [ It feels a little strange, being the one to suggest a plan of action, considering that's usually the other Exwire's area of expertise, or even the teachers!

But she really thinks... ] I think we should regroup! [ That's the word she's looking for, isn't it? Regroup? ]

Okay.

Someone is going to tell me how this thing works.

[Zoom! Enjoy that view of Nier's piercing peepers for a second there, because he's turning his camera around to point it the microwave oven in Heimdall's kitchen.]

There's no heat. It just shines a light on the food, and then it comes out hot. I've watched through this little window a hundred times, and there's still no sign of anything heating up the food.

[Seriously, he has. There's a pretty large pile of hot, warm, lukewarm, and cool chicken nuggets right beside him on the counter.]

What kind of magic is this? Is that light really so powerful? If so, why isn't this entire machine growing hot and melting down? It doesn't seem so sturdy to me.

[When the camera comes on, Ranka is obviously somewhere outside next to a very monochrome backdrop. She's leaning on a railing holding her arm out the other is tucked under her chin as she leans over.]

I've been giving this a lot of thought. During the rough times in my world I always had someone there to protect me, and keep me out of danger. Alto, my brothers and everyone always looked after me.

But, I'm here alone. So I can't really rely on them, because they aren't here, and someone that's been kind to me even was hurt because I can't protect myself properly.

[She gives a little bit of a smile and tips her head to the side as she stares at the camera.]

I want to be able to rely on what I can do, so I think if I could find someone to help me learn how to defend myself, I'd appreciate it. I just don't want to get in the way anymore.

I want to help too.

[Clearly Ranka should be paying more attention to the surroundings, especially when someone like Shiba is around. There's a not so innocent smirk on his face as he steps behind her. Without any warning he covers her eyes with his hands.]

Mmm, you wish to learn how to protect yourself...

[His lips inch closer to her ear as those red eyes of his gain an almost predatory light to them.]

Yet you make such a tempting prey.

[Ranka tenses up for a second as the hand slides over her eyes, her hand reaching up to grasp at it. When she hears his voice her hand reaches up pushing it away from her eyes. Looking over her shoulder she smiles.]

You're late Shiba, I've been waiting for you!

[She laughs and turns as she looks at the camera. Before she reaches up pushing at his chest with a pointer finger.]

You aren't someone who should say things like that, especially when you have such a goofy smile on your face.

Oh? Didn't you hear that appearances can be deceiving?

[There's indeed a goofy smile on his face as he offers her his hand but somehow the smile doesn't quite reach his eyes.]

Shall I escort the little princess?

Well you said you'd help me shop to make something! So lets go. OH! Ah, I'll talk to everyone later.

[With that Ranka takes Shiba's hand with her free one, but before that she gives one last wave before shutting off her camera.]

[the video feed cues onto Rin, but he seems like a little worse for ware. He's got some bandages on his face, and he's got some cuts and scrapes and he's got what looks like to be a mild burn on the base of his chin. But its nothing really, not for him anyways. ]

Well how is-[as he shrugs, he stops wincing loudly in pain. Yes, pain. A foreign concept to Rin, the son of satan. He's not used to be hurt or going through such things, but he's not one to complain. In fact, considering that this is the first time he's been seriously injured and his arm in a sling he's doing pretty damn well. But still, it doesn't feel comfortable and you can tell he's not feeling well.]

Mmm, ah...Is everyone alright? I mean I know there are still people in the hospital, but I didn't know if the fires were out.

I wish there was something I could do to help. [for once he feels completely and utterly powerless. And it sucks.]

Its no big deal, but, well, does anyone know if their powers have come back? Anything at all? Is there anyone that had powers before at home? If anyone did, have they gotten them back at all? It'd be nice right now, I mean for some people. Since it might be helpful for healers, maybe. [He winces and yelps again, OW PAIN REALLY SUCKS]

Just curious ya know, [he pauses looking off to the side, deep in thought] no reason.

[ooc: Just fyi, Rin got himself injured at the assault by the dragon protecting Ranka. He got himself injured and is too stubborn to get it healed =w=. Soooo yah, he's being a git, oops]

[When the bracelet image turns on, the boy it's recording is basically oblivious to its actions. At the current moment there's several spots of blood splattering the ground below his right arm, and Yukio is tightening a bandage around his bicep made from ripped pieces of his shirt. That is to say, he's got one end in his left hand, and the other end in his teeth.

Ah, medical skills. Once he's done, Yukio leans back against the wall he's currently using as a support structure and rolls down his sleeves. This wasn't exactly where he was expecting to find himself when the last thing he remembered he was in the middle of a fight.]

Todo's gone... looks like I made it out in one piece.

[He scans the area now, squinting. He'd lost his glasses during that battle. He reaches into the pocket of his discarded jacket with his good arm and places a new pair on his face. And with that he gets to his feet and starts walking, his surroundings indicative of the Odin district.]

Rin, just hold on. I'll find you just as soon as I find a way out of this place.
