I'm... not sure we're talking about the same thing, but... I hope you get to one day, whatever you mean. [She wasn't sure. The metaphor wasn't obvious or clear-cut, but it was still obvious something had been taken away.]

I don't mind not flying. It's the 'phantom' feel that they should be there that's irritating, and the bones underneath the scar tissue can feel weird sometimes. No, I'd rather not. Up in the air, you're a target. My real flight is my magic.

Not here, though I've been figuring out the magic they have here a little. Runes and potions and the like. It's not the same, but it's close, so I don't feel completely useless.

You can come by the shop, and I'll demonstrate one of the runes I've got, show you the golem I keep there for defense. If you're free now, I'm actually there. It's not as much fun on the network.
