[ it has been a while since Kaworu showed his face and made a post, hasn't it? This time around he is at the park. His really pale skin is red from the sun - probably burnt, too, because Kaworu is like an albino - and it's obvious he is feeling the heat, but he is sitting under a tree in the shade ]

Hello. [ have a gentle smile, everyone! ] I hope everyone is alright, even though recent events show us it is getting more dangerous. Even so, there is still much to see and learn in this world. Only recently I've found there are small fans to place inside houses to refresh the place. [ yeah he didn't know about that sort of fans )8 ] Even after so long here, there is much for me to learn.

I suppose it makes me curious: what is the most fascinating thing you have seen in this world?

I do have another question. [ but of course. And it'll be a bit more personal ] After the war has ended and if the Gods and the travelers win, would you wish to stay in this world, or would you rather return? And why?

Do you know why are they less polite? [ maybe it's the way her world is, maybe they have an actual reason such as not wanting others to get closer ]

The war had more impact on people's lives. ( Luna hadn't been kidnapped for blackmail purposes here, for instance. )

What was the war about?

There's this powerful Dark Wizard who hates Muggleborns. ( A beat, and she realises she should clarify because people have been confused before. ) Muggleborns are magical people - witches or wizards - born to non-magical parents. His followers hold the same beliefs, but really they oppose anyone who stands in their way.

By the time I was brought here, they had taken over the government and the school.

[5thchild]

[ a pause ] Do you know someone named Harry Potter or Draco Malfoy?

[beyondmeasure]

Yes. I know them both. ( After a moment, she adds. ) Harry's my friend.

[5thchild]

[ kaworu smile and nods ] I see. He has been here. And others from the same world, as well. It seems you have missed them, however; I'm sorry.

[beyondmeasure]

I've met one of my friends here. Her name's Hermione. I know that I'll be able to see the rest of them again someday.

[5thchild]

I believe I've spoken to her before, yes.

I hope such can happen soon, as well. The war is worrisome, but it feels like it'll come to an end soon; it can't last forever.

And then you'll be able to return.

I believe I will, too. I'm looking forward to our future. ( A moment passes, and then she asks, curious: ) What about you? Would you return home or stay here in this world?

That's a good thing to look forward to.

I must return. [ note he didn't say what he'd like to do. He said what he HAS to do ]

( And that, of course, only ignites curiosity. Her question is simple. )

Why?

[5thchild]

I have a role I must fulfill, in every cycle of rebirth. No one else but me can do so, at least not yet. There will be a time when I'm no longer needed nor demanded for sacrifice, but not yet.

( When Luna is confused something, rest assured that whatever information that has been presented to her is sufficiently baffling. )

That sounds like a great deal of responsibility.

it's not new. Before I took this role, I have always had great responsibility upon me. I chose to ignore it, however, and to focus on the new task.

Always? That must have been very tiring. ( A beat. ) If I may ask, what made you decide that this new task was more important?

I came to love someone, and others related to that person. For that reason I chose to live and die for him and because of him.

My role is to repeat it over and over again, until he finally walks a brighter path and redoes what pained him during the last time.

Repeat it...? ( ??? ) Like time travel?

No. It's a timeloop.

When the world's existence comes to an end, everything will re-start again quite similar to the last time, but with small differences, enough to allow those involved to change.

( Trying to understand!! )

So it's like time-travel, but larger.

Not quite. In the time-loop, the time-stream ends and then restarts again. Time-travel implies moving through the time-stream that exists.

In other words, one is about birth, death and rebirth, and the latter about living through it.
