You seem to be from some alternate universe to mine. It's common here.

A car is a mode of transportation using an engine. [Please know what an engine is.] So far they only roll on the ground, but people would really like it if we could make them fly.

Yes, most people have them, at least in my country. It's probably the most common mode of transportation.

[Alright, now she's really curious.]

Horses, yes. Pegasi... is that like a plural of Pegasus? Because if so, no.

Truly, a shame. I'm quite fond of my horse, but there is something effortlessly graceful about a pegasus.

Yeah there's only one where I come from. And he's a mythological creature.

I'd definitely give up my car if I could ride a pegasus all the time. Because then I could fly too. It's so efficient.

Oh, but you must be careful. Pegasi are very shy creatures. It takes a gentle hand to tame one.

I am rather fond of children and animals, provided they are kept clean. [This coming from the woman who wears gloves all the time]

I actually don't keep any pets back home but here's I've managed to acquire two of those singing flowers - which I guess aren't animals - and a Pokemon.

The flowers grow around here, so I'm sure you could find a few here if you want some.

It's a small creature that lives in a ball. They're not real in my world, but apparently they are here.

I should like to do so. They do seem as if they might brighten things a bit.

Whyever does it live in a ball?

Not really sure? I guess it just sleeps in there. Some people use theirs to fight each other but ours is a lover, not a fighter.

[Although whatever skills Tasha has might be useful during any battles that are coming up.]

But what is it, exactly?

It's like an animal - they come in hundreds of different varieties and they're very strange compared to the animals I have in my world.

They're cute though and really clean. They make good pets.

I'm sure they must be a great comfort in this place.

Kate's more of a comfort, but the Pokemon is nice too.
