003 ♖ [video]

[The feed shows Castle laying on his bed, looking half-asleep or maybe just bored. He could probably be doing something productive, something that could benefit the war effort in some way, but would rather ask the population at large a question.]

Hey, Asgard - What's your favorite book?

[He's not doing research of any kind, just purely curious. But if anyone asks, this is somehow related to the Welcoming Committee. Don't worry, he'll make it work.]

I did! I didn't enjoy it as much when I was a child but it's in my top ten now.

Dantès' vengeance wasn't something I could find myself getting behind-- focusing one's life on ruining others, even if they might have deserved it, seemed like such of a waste of an opportunity for a clean slate. And his actions came around to hurt innocent people in the process.

[ Might have been why he wasn't the best Assassin-in-training when he was a child, with an attitude like that, but sorry, Castle, he won't be adding that. ]

Now it's a bit easier to empathize with his suffering, and understanding that kind of ceaseless drive for justice.
