Uh, hey there. Name's Lee. I'd appreciate some help - or advice.

I've been without my left arm for a few months now - I lost it back home just before I got here. [A pause. Admittedly it wasn't so much losing it, as telling his friend to saw it off. It had seemed a good idea at the time... but anyway.] And, uh, Joel offered this -

[He holds up the robotic arm strapped at his left elbow.]

But I don't have any shadow control to move it by myself. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas how to work something out some other way? Operation might be a bit complex, but... well, with the amount of, uh "magic" and shit around here, I thought there might be something someone could do...

So... yeah. If there's anyone here with any knowledge of this kinda thing who might wanna help, I'd really owe you one.

[Sure enough, a few minutes later he's knocking on the door.]

Uh, Doctor?

[Lee goes inside, glancing around as he offers the Doctor a smile.]

Hey. Here about the arm...

[The room itself is... actually relatively neat-looking, mostly because Four doesn't spend a whole lot of time in it. It does, however, look as if he very much fits into the room in question, although the small stuffed owl sitting on the bed looks a little out of the ordinary.

But that's perhaps a matter for another time.]

[Lee sits down on the bed, taking a brief glance around, smiling a little at the owl lying nearby.] I, uh, appreciate you taking a look. 'Could be a big help if I can get some sort of arm working.

It's the least I can do. And even if it turns out I can't do anything with it, I might be able to point you in the direction of someone who might be able to do something more.

You said it was meant to work with shadow control, yes?

Yeah. That's what Joel did to work it. I have Fire Magic - pretty cool, but not much help here.

Ah, no it wouldn't. But if it already reacts to one thing, it might be able to change it to react to another. Not fire magic, of course, there's not really enough control in that to make a functional arm I should think.

But if we can make it listen to something else, well... there's no harm in trying, eh? The question is just what.
