[She would have just locked it to the pack, but she knows that Lydia and Allison are there too, somewhere, and while she doesn't know how much contact Derek had with them, if it was a lot they should know too.

So.

She also doesn't know of Derek had any friends outside the pack but it was Derek so she doesn't think the odds are high.]

Derek's gone. I'm taking the dog.

[In case any of you were wondering about the fate of Derek's wolf cub that is being renamed. SHE IS NOT OWNING A PET NAMED AFTER HERSELF.]

Peter's gone too. Thought you should know.

[Scott's the only one who gets this because she doubts that anyone else would care. Not that Scott particularly cares for the right reasons at least his response probably won't be something along the lines of "good riddance."]

[After that bit of business is done and she finishes staring at the frost all over everything, she bundles up a little (she doesn't exactly have a coat, but she does manage a sweatshirt) and takes the cub formerly known as Cora for a walk. The cool air feels good, and while the frost all over everything is a little worrisome, she's not exactly planning on wandering far from Sigyn.

The cub sniffs her way through the streets, not straying far from her side, but not exactly keeping too close either. Eventually she'll find a bench to sit on for a bit, just getting some air and letting the cold clear her head a bit. Then when she's too cold to deal with it anymore, she scoops up her dog, cuddling her to her chest for warmth as she makes her way back, just before it starts to snow.

Maybe, when the weather is less crappy, they'll actually have the time to go to the park.]

[He's known Peter has been gone for a week or so now, and it's a real pity. There's not many people Klaus genuinely likes. Sure, he likes people for their uses, and Peter certainly had those, but Peter was also as close to a friend as Klaus is ever going to get. He knew a bit about what Peter was going through, as much as Peter knew about Klaus and the Mystic Falls crew. Precautions are necessary here, allies even more so.

He had talked to Derek once or twice, but he even seems gone now. So he seeks out one other person who could have cared. He's never talked to her, and he isn't a hundred percent sure what he looks like, but when a girl keeps calling out to a small dog with the name Cora, the dog that Cora's brother named after her, he pauses for a moment. He has t been expecting to run into her any time soon. He's just out gathering an extra blanket, stockpiling some food, and of course finding a bottle of alcohol where he can.]

This is a strange question. But you don't happen to be Peter Hale's niece, do you?

[Well that went from zero to creepy in ten seconds flat.

Cora recoils a bit from the strange man who's just randomly pegging her as Peter's niece, and while she is there's a healthy dose of that Hale paranoia to go along with it. Peter doesn't exactly have a whole lot of friends sooooooo .... ]

Who wants to know?

[ Allison can't really say she cares one way or the other; after her failed attempt at being civil with him before he disappeared the last time, she doesn't really care if he's around or not. Though she's definitely wondering how Isaac's going to take this.

ooc: Because I apparently fail really hard at rp things, do we want to handwave them being introduced (or reintroduced in Cora's case) or something? Or just have Allison be like "Yeah, idk who you are." ]

[There's a pause for a moment, but she figures Allison probably is going to find out eventually. Beating around the bush isn't really her style.]

[ She almost types out "I thought all his family died except for Peter" but decides against it. No sense making an enemy right off the bat, even if she is a Hale. ]

You would definitely be the best person to take care of it, then.

[There goes any chance for them to ever speak again. It's fine, he supposes. Derek must have really been done with him then. And that's fine. Really. Boyd will go ahead and focus on the more important part of this message.]

There's a dog?

Technically she's a wolf cub. But calling her a dog pisses Stiles off.

[She has a sense of what he's thinking but they won't talk about that now. Not on the filter where everyone can see it, but maybe later, when they were alone and pretending that they don't have a lot of feelings about this.]

[She's not really sure what she expected. Things had been going better this time. A bit. Maybe not really, but she at least felt like she could talk to him for the first time, but now he's gone again and they're left being just a pack without much else except each other.]

[There's a moment before she responds because no, she's not. Not really. But she will be. It's not as though Derek is the only one she has here.

But it's still Derek and she was just getting used to having him again - and more to the point, having him and it not being them fighting all the time.]

[ Scott would really, really like to say "good riddance" to Peter being gone but he's far too polite to say something like that. Peter is still family to Cora, no matter how terrible he is. ]

I don't want to say I'm glad Peter's gone but it will definitely be less stressful without him here. Thanks for letting me know.

Sorry about Derek. I was hoping he'd help me out with my dog training... If you need help with the cub, don't hesitate to ask.
