the saddest yard sale advertisement you will ever see [video]
[Roland sits amid wood, nails, and wire, scattered in a few small piles across the overgrown back yard. A little ways behind him, eagle-eyed viewers might notice a chicken in the process of laying an egg.]
Fiona Gallagher's... gone home. She, ah-- [He shakes his head, starts over, nodding at the house his camera's not at the right angle to show.] Anything in there's fair game. Odin 107, I mean. I won't be needing any of it. The door'll be open. Probably food and furniture, mostly - anything in the cupboards or refrigerator, anything not nailed down, bar the refrigerator and stove. I think the place came with those. [He shakes his head again, realizing he might be starting to ramble.] Doesn't matter. Corn, beans, squash plants in the back. Take them. Can probably see 'em behind me somewhere.
[Another chicken starts to peck at his sleeve and he lifts his arm, blinking at it.] Ah. Couple chickens, if you can catch them. Is that all? I think... I could probably use a couple extra hands to get all this wood and a couple of these plants over to Freyr district. And I... to be honest, I could probably use the company.
Bowls. I'll need a few of the bowls to transport these plants in. Other than that... Plates, silverware, clothes, bedding. Doesn't matter. I'll be leaving once it's empty. If I'm not here, don't take any of the magic plants. I'll find you. [The tone of that last is too absent for it to sound like a threat. It sounds, if anything, like an afterthought.]
The door's open. Have I said... [He has, probably. Roland shakes his head again, grimacing at himself, and cuts the feed.]
(ooc: If your character would drop by, this post doubles as a log post. Either prose or this format works, I'm comfortable with either.)

I have made my choice to fight but only as support. After all, if we don't a choice, what else is there? I don't want to cross the Gods either but...
[She paused for a moment.]
I don't want to die here either.

[Gods, wasn't one of those groups supposed to be a Welcome Committe? His expression's clearly disapproving - not at her, but at the fact that when she'd arrived, someone clearly wasn't doing their job. The expression fades as he explains.]
There's very little chance of that. So long as the goddess Hel lives, any traveler who dies here is brought back to life. I've heard there're consequences if it happens too often, but so long as you're careful that should be avoidable. The most permanent thing likely to happen to you here is going home.

Ah...I suppose that is the reason why some of my dead friends are here. I’m still not sure how that is possible but I’m not going to really question the Gods. Still, but if that nothing is permanent here, I’m worried as I once before.
But I still don’t want to die here regardless.

[And knowing Mitsuru? Oh boy]

...If you have any other questions about this place, go ahead and ask. Better me than whoever was supposed to meet you when you first arrived here.

But how though? Once again, I’m not familiar with Norse Mythology but how could it be possible they can just bend through time travel like that? They are Gods but still, I wonder what else they can do. There has to be a limit somewhere.
[Time Travel huh? That sounds a bit familiar]

Odin made a speech not too long ago, said they only called themselves gods because we call them so. I'll link it. But if they're not all-powerful, I doubt very much they're going to admit their limits to anyone who asks. Were I in their position, that's a secret I'd hold very closely.
'Norse Mythology' is what most worlds call the stories of Asgard's gods, isn't it? There're plenty of those in the library, if you haven't visited it yet.

I have visited the library but there is quite a lot to keep up. Although, I guess I’ll just have to keep on researching some more to figure everything out! If I can do something similar back home, this won’t be any different!
[Yeah but...without Juno…]

Still, I suppose talking to her wouldn't work either.

[Because, um... No? How about we don't.]

[Blink blink.]
I’m sorry, did I say something wrong?

[He shakes his head. Man Jesus, the people you meet in this place.]
You do realize she wants to destroy this city and everyone in it.

[Then this was where Fuuka started to sigh]
I suppose I wasn’t paying much attention was I?

In the end, I suppose I don’t have a choice but to talk to my friend about this. [She mumbled a bit] He does have a lot on his hands already but if I have do…

Thank again for your help, mister…. [Hey, wait a minute!] What’s your name again, sir?
no subject
[Does he seem stuck on this point? Yeah, he's a little stuck on it.]

[Although, there was that one time she did lose her temper when Ken was gone missing. ...Or that she shot herself with her evoker and probably scaring her teammates but that’s for another time!]
But it is nice to meet you and thank again for the help!

[Not that he knows what 'san' means. But she doesn't seem the type to be too insulted if he's gotten it wrong.]

You are more than welcomed to call me Fuuka if you wish. You don’t have to call me that if you aren’t uncomfortable!

I wasn’t sure if it was making you uncomfortable though!
[And let the awkward sink in]
