[ After several months in the city, Jorah Mormont has never made a post of his own to the network. He never has much of anything to say that someone else can't say instead. The ghosts have been interesting, and the forgotten memories as well, but it takes something a little more personal for Jorah to call attention to himself in this manner.

So, what are we interrupting this program to bring you? Pining, of course. ]

Queen Daenerys of the House Targaryen is no longer in the city. She has not become a specter. She has disappeared entirely and her name has been erased from the list of Travelers.

[ He tries to keep his tone even and largely emotionless, but he essentially fails. The hopelessness behind his words is more of a scream than a whisper. It's a personal situation, you understand. He was aiming for forgiveness and never quite got there. When he goes home, he'll have to start all over again. ]

I understand she was a great help to the healers here on more than one occasion. I believe they would like to be informed of her disappearance, particularly in a time such as this.

She left behind very little, and unfortunately nothing I am entitled to give should a token be requested.

Loras, this is not the time. Loras, please. He is not happy. ]

If you are dissatisfied, Ser Loras, there is little need for you to speak to me. Should you wish to pledge loyalty to the throne's strongest claimant, you know where to find her when you return home.

[Loras snorts.]

We don't remember this place from home. But as long as Renly is alive, he is my King, and I am loyal to him alone.

[He softens, slightly. He shouldn't be so cruel.]

Despite my...dislike, for you, I will say that I am sorry for your loss. To lose the one you are loyal to is...difficult.

[There. He's attempted to be nice.]

[ That is barely an attempt to be nice, but Jorah doesn't have the same type of quick sharpness to him that Loras does. Any of his own cruelness really stems from being a curmudgeon with bad life experiences.

He gets it, though. He totally gets it. ]

I am aware how difficult it is to lose one you are loyal to. We understand one another in that respect, at least. I will make no attempt to sway your loyalty, Ser.

And that is appreciated. If...

Aye. That too is appreciated, though I suspect there is little you can do.

No, I suppose not. Since people come back to life here, even killing has little effect.

So she kept her title as well, I see. Where would she have gone?

A title she has earned and has every right to use. I can't say the same for the growing collection of kings in this city.

If the words of this city's gods are to be trusted, she has returned to Meereen.

[He says nothing on the matter, he had his own games with the Queen, but in Westeros.]

And is that better or worse?

I cannot say. Whether she is here or there, she has a war to fight.

[ But he would prefer less distance, himself. At least he was on his way to forgiveness while she was here. ]

As does everyone in Westeros, ser. Or nearly everyone. I find it curious she'd be sent back, when these gods are so keen on keeping what isn't theirs for their own benefit.

Others have been sent back to their homes. The Queen is not the first, nor will she be the last. You or I could be next. Perhaps the gods wish to lighten the load, or perhaps they have less power over the city than they care to admit. Or perhaps they have simply grown tired of Westeros and its rivaling kings and queens.

I would almost wager the last.

It's how most of Asgard feels on the matter, I believe. Westeros as well, I would not doubt.

Westeros has no greater threat than itself. It will not end.

Bugger.

I really need to get on finding new employees.

[ Johnnnn don't do that ]

My apologies. I would offer my services in her place, but I'm afraid my knowledge of healing the sick is significantly less.

[ He is an old timey guy. They don't have secretaries where he's from. ]

Paperwork. Keeping all patient's journals in order and arranging appointments and payments.

[ Well, that sounds proper dull, but... ]

I advised Her Grace for a time in our own world. I admit, I do not have her touch, but if you are in dire need, I will take the job over for her.

[ Sweet summer child Jorah, this won't help you at all if Daenerys comes back. She won't even remember. ]

It's not that difficult. You could get help the first few days.

It's fine, though, really, if you don't think it'd be your cup of tea. I can find someone else.

No, I would be pleased to do so.

[ He sounds less than thrilled, and no part of being an ex-member of Dany's Queensguard says that he has to handle her affairs, but he would like to throw himself into another distraction. Why not? ]

[ Changing the settings. And Jorah gets a smile. ]

John Watson. And you?

[ Aw, okay. After a pause and a moment of hesitation, Jorah decides it's alright to show his own, forever stern face. Actually, his eyes look quite sad. ]

Ser Jorah Mormont. When would you like for me to begin?

[ Those are some sad eyes. But he did just lose someone. ]

Tomorrow? If it's not too soon.

[ Qurl, pls. He'd look sad no matter what. It's sort of his thing. ]

Not at all. Tomorrow would be perfectly acceptable. When?

I open at nine, but I'm usually there at least half an hour. You can show up at any time until eight, though, and I'll be there.

Good.

[Yeah that's it that's all he has to say.]

[ Because if she ever got her hands on some dragons, you would probably be done for, Joff. ]

For her sake. Good thing she left before I decided to deal with her properly.

[ Joffrey, no. ]

You may have tried. You would have failed. I realize where your influence has been drawn from, but destroying something does not make the problem go away.

Do you really think she could have beaten me in combat? I'll bet she can barely lift a sword.

Should it have come to that, she would not have been the one lifting the sword. I swore to defend her to my last breath, and I would do just that.

How loyal. But she was too weak to kill me. She insisted on a truce. I think she thought me a child.

You are a child. Attempting to make a truce is not an indication of weakness.

I am a king, and trusting one's enemies is a certain sign of stupidity.

You keep your enemies at arm's length. Regardless, she did not ask for you to trust her, nor did she ask for your trust. She requested a truce. This world is not our own, and she understood that fighting for a throne that is leagues away from here is pointless. You would do well to remember that.

I'm sorry to hear that. She seemed like a nice young lady.

She is perhaps the most stubborn person I have met in my life, but she has a kind and gentle heart. She has done well for herself in our world. [ B i a s e d ]

Then I very much hope her trip home is a positive one.
