[ Regina Mills meets you today dressed in a royal blue jacket and tailored black pants and though she could really use a change of clothes, she isn't about to make this her point. No, instead she folds one leg over the other, every hair in place and lifts her chin. all in all, she appears to be, well, regal.

Who expects less from the Evil Queen? But for the moment, she is more Regina than Her Majesty. Her voice may be deep and commanding, a no-nonsense tone sitting there but the subject of why she addresses the whole city, well. ]

Asgard.

[ the only 'hello' and 'how do you do' that you'll get. ]

I won't ask you how do you do because honestly, it'll be more than a bit ridiculous of a question given everything. I arrived here nearly a month ago and to my understanding, we are expecting another influx of unsuspecting people who were minding their own business before being sent here.

My son is not in the city, I don't know if he'll ever be in the city. But just in case, I ask you to be aware. His name is Henry, he is twelve. There are not many little boys in this city but if you'll need a picture, I can provide one.

[ it feels wrong to be showing a picture of Henry and her to a crowd of unfamiliar faces. ]

I also know that there have been a number of - well, there is no other way of saying it but gruesome in this city a while ago.

[ Like you can talk, Regina, you rip people's hearts out. ]

Know this. Henry is my son. I will not see him harmed. Not for the world.

[ her eyes go darker, flare in anger and the threat. well. the threat is very present. Like a mama bear who just made it very clear that her young one will be protected at the cost of her own life. ]

[The mention of his name gets Henry's attention, even if it's immediately obvious that it's an entirely different person. It would've been utterly bizarre to see his mother again here, of all places.

It's enough to make him curious though. If he cared more, he'd probably be jealous.]

[It's not really a common sort of name where he's from.]

[ regina doesn't want to talk about henry and at the same time, she does. because talking of henry would expose a side of her she doesn't want these people to see. she doesn't want to seem weak or feeling to them. better them to know her as heartless for her threat to hold, for henry to remain safe if he arrives. but at the same time she can't quite speak coldly of henry. ]

[ you know, Snow, she stares at the name that appears for quite a lot of time, torn between confusion and anger. she supposes it makes sense, in some worlds, snow white is real at the others, she's a fairytale. but still. her instincts are to be annoyed with everything snow white ever and I mean, have you seen the movie? ugh. ]

I don't trust the gods' kindness, nor the gods, snow.

[ and the name is said in a rather pointed manner. as if she is her snow, even though she isn't. As for the picture -- well, it's not like you're his actual grandmother but it's still weird. She'd do anything to save Henry, including showing his picture to another Snow White.

As if one is not enough. She lifts it up. ]

Do you have any reason to believe that we would hurt your son?

[ because, to be quite honest, it seemed as though this woman did. it was rare enough for someone's first assumption to be that they would be near someone who would hurt their child, without good reason. ]

I have no reason to believe you wouldn't. I don't tend to offer any trust to strangers when it comes down to my son.

[ or to anyone, that is. The only one she trusts with Henry is, oddly enough, Emma Swan. And that's a steady 65% of trust that can be turned into complete distaste in 2 minutes. ]

It'll make her smash things and that might be a bit of a startle. Honestly, Elsa is not even a bad flatmate which makes Regina take a deep breath and nod. ]

[hearing the threat that is implied in the message, it's not emily can exactly blame her for that but that in itself almost reminds her of a certain someone she knows who is just as protective of her son]

Not in my world and not under my roof. Henry is a boy. And he's a boy who needs his mother.

[ don't call Henry a man. He might yet come here and start claiming to be an adult and then where will she be? right in the middle of a teenage rebellion, that's where. ]
