Just before I get started, just in case anyone wanted to say 'oh hey, Lydia, you're back'? I am but I'm not. I know that I've been here before, I was happily told that, but I don't remember it. So for anyone that did know me you might want to reintroduce yourself first.

Now that that's out of the way, I've been doing some reading. With everything that has happened and is supposed to I want to know what I'm going to be in for. Apparently that's not the easiest thing to do. Not concisely, anyway. But what's a network full of people for if not to help someone out?

One of the gods has died before and it saved us when we should have died. [ That she found out from the network rather than a book, helpful soul ] Have any of the others died or was it just this one? Because I'm assuming that we're still in a war, so what's happened since and why was that incident so different? Cliff notes version, preferably.

How big can your drawings get?

[ Is size important to you, Lydia? ] As big as the paper?

[ For some things. Some very important things. Like the size of her paper ] So if you stuck some pieces of paper together you could make something pretty large?

I haven't actually tried that. My friend just got me big paper. But I guess I could stick the big sheets of paper together to make even bigger paper... [ Sam looks excited at what he could make on a bigger scale. ] You're a genius. [ Or Sam didn't think of the obvious... ]

[ Nope, nope, she's totally a genius ]

You should let me know what happens with that. It could also help if you ever needed to draw something that was bigger than a piece of paper.

Then I definitely hope that it does. [ Not just for her own goodies ] So what have you drawn before?

Mostly just gifts for my friends.

That could definitely be handy if you couldn't find what you were looking for in a store, or to make custom items.

Does it ever matter how well you can draw?

It does if you want the thing you're drawing to look good when it comes off the paper? I practice drawing a lot.

[ Yes. That'd be cute ]

That makes sense. I wouldn't mind taking a look.

Yeah? You like drawing?

Yeah. It's peaceful.

[ That's somewhat of a strange response from someone her age. ] Is peace and quiet something you don't get enough of?

Not as much as I used to.

I don't think you'll get much peace and quiet here either, sorry.

But at least you've got a hobby to help you relax.

Did you draw at home or did you learn for your power?

Does doodling in class count? [ Sam snorts. ] I like comics so I sketch superhero stuff when I'm bored. But making art out of pasta is my "gift" according to my art teacher.

I wouldn't have thought of that one. At least doodling in class gave you a start for this power.
