Just before I get started, just in case anyone wanted to say 'oh hey, Lydia, you're back'? I am but I'm not. I know that I've been here before, I was happily told that, but I don't remember it. So for anyone that did know me you might want to reintroduce yourself first.

Now that that's out of the way, I've been doing some reading. With everything that has happened and is supposed to I want to know what I'm going to be in for. Apparently that's not the easiest thing to do. Not concisely, anyway. But what's a network full of people for if not to help someone out?

One of the gods has died before and it saved us when we should have died. [ That she found out from the network rather than a book, helpful soul ] Have any of the others died or was it just this one? Because I'm assuming that we're still in a war, so what's happened since and why was that incident so different? Cliff notes version, preferably.

Mostly what the welcome wagon mentions. The greyness is a disease, the war leads to Ragnarok. One god died, another apparently nearly has. It's been going on for a while.

And how likely are you to be believin' they're true? [Everything that's said.]

Never met a person who steals who doesn't lie.

They'll be lying about some of it. If they were telling the truth we'd know everything. Finding someone who's been here a while might be better than just trusting what they say.

Aye. [She perks up.] You're a clever one. I wonder if they'd be willin' t'talk.

[ There's a small smile at that compliment. She appreciates it ]

People that have been here a while? You just have to ask the right questions.

About the war? I talked to a girl who talked to the gods. She said they were o' no help, pleased with bringin' our lot in.

Was that all you got from her?

[freewoman]

She said they weren't helpful. Her name's Leeloo if you need more from 'er.

Ygritte. You said yours was Lydia, aye?

I did. I guess that you haven't been here longer, then.

Only a few days now.

Well you might have learned more in those couple of days than some people have in months.

It's not something I've ever had to do before. [ Minus making a Molotov cocktail from memory ] What do you fight with?

Spear, bow, knife, axe. Whatever is handy.
