[Hello there, Asgard. Clara normally avoids using the network, just because she doesn't think it really works with making her not feel awkward and weird, but she's decided to break her rule of not using it all that often in order to get a message out there, and also ask a couple of things.
Unsure of how to just jump into talking, she reaches up to tuck hair behind her ear, awkwardly waving and smiling as she does so.]
Right, so, first off -
[There's a pause, and she hesitates, bringing her hand up toward her mouth so she can bite at her pinkie.]
Figure I ought to let anyone that heard I was gone know I'm back.
[Another pause, and her eyes shift off to the left. Then the right. Awkward.]
Obviously.
[Another pause, and she chuckles a bit, just because she really needs to get better at talking over these things.]
Also, had a bit of a question for the lot of you. I could use a distraction or two, and was wondering if any of the adults out there might be interested in English language or literature lessons? Free of charge, of course, just something fun to pass the time in between nearly being killed.
[Her smile becomes more warm now, and her talking more at ease, her mannerisms much more animated as she eases into subjects she enjoys talking about.]
And on that incredibly studious note, I'm also looking for someone who might be able to help me with my growth power. I've been to the library here and there looking for any information I can find on plants, and always seem to find things too broad to be of much use. Any help anyone can provide will be repaid one way or another.
[And not sure what else there is to say or how to end this, she brings a hand up to give a little salute as a sign off, and cuts things there.]

[She snorts in amusement, reaching out to take hold of his hand. The second her fingers curl around his, she pulls herself in close to him, and rises up on her tiptoes to quickly kiss him. Her mouth lingers near his despite having broken the kiss, but before she can kiss him again, she ducks away. Her hand is still holding onto his though, so it's not as if she plans on going far.]
You're still most definitely, assuredly, completely a show off. And you love it. You can't even bother looking ashamed!
[And she can't bother looking annoyed by it, and just chuckles as she gives his hand a tug so she can drag him over toward her bookshelves to retrieve a book.]

Luckily, in this case that's just Clara, and Jamie opts to pretend like that that never happened, instead letting her tug him over towards the bookshelves without protest.]
Don't see any point in looking ashamed when I'm not. Besides, if I did, you'd not have anything to tease me about, now would ye.
[Except for that part where she'd likely come up with something anyway, but he really doesn't mind when it's coming from her. He steps up next to her and rests his chin on her shoulder, peering over it at the shelves and the books there.]
What're we going to read, anyway?

[Smirking, she hugs a book close to her chest so she can spin about and bump her hip up against him. She heads over toward an oversized chair, glancing over her shoulder with a look that tells him to follow.
She prances on ahead, right out of his reach, and plops down to sit, curling up but leaving plenty of room for him.]
An adventure novel is what we're reading. One about a race around the world.

[Giving her a merry grin in return, he makes a playful attempt at reacting to the hip-bump, reaching out towards her but deliberately letting it fall far short. That look she's giving him means he'll get his chance soon enough - well, at least once she's done staying just ahead of him. And sure enough, she gives him that chance when she settles into the chair, and he doesn't hesitate to join her, curling up next to her and wrapping an arm around her before leaning his chin on her shoulder and glancing down at the book she has in her hand.]
Is there any fighting during the race?

[Pleased that he's actually taking an interest in something she likes to do, she gets comfortable up against him before opening the book and turning to the first page to start reading. She decides very quickly, before she's even managed to get through five sentences, that she rather likes doing this. The more she enjoys herself, the more animated she becomes while reading, to the point where she's doing voices and performing little actions by the end of the first chapter.
It's just about the most perfect way to spend an afternoon, in her opinion.]

Part of it is that she's good at telling stories, the voices and the actions enough to keep his interest even without there being fighting in it. But part of it is also that it's something she enjoys, and he can see that simply by sitting there and watching while she talks. And he finds that he likes this idea of spending time with her doing something that she likes to do. It makes her happy, and that makes him happy.
So if it's something that she wants to do again in the future...well, then, maybe it won't be so hard to convince him to spend more afternoons like this, when they have the chance. It really is a pretty good way to spend the time - especially when he's spending it with her.]
